I'm extremely impressed. That kid is a baller. The funny thing is, I remember him being more of s role player for Kentucky's talented roster. I thought the base case scenario for him might be Klay Thompson lite.

I think one could make a case for him being at least as good if not better. He seems to be a slightly lesser shooter but a better overall scorer. Booker can put the ball on the ground and get to the hoop it seems like whenever he wants.

You're right he's younger. So the sky is the limit for him. I thought the best case for him was Klay Thompson lite.

Fans being completely biased. could you imagine this board if Exum or Lyles scored 35 in one game? It would be as if we had won the finals. Now people act as if Booker scoring 70 is nothing.

And I felt this way before this game happened.
I was blown away by him in one of the games the jazz played against the suns. Seemed like if you gave him even the tiniest amount of space then he would never miss.

He won't be as good as Hayward or Gobert at any point in his career.

I think Brandon Jennings dropped 60 his rookie year. Last time I checked he didnt become a super-star because 1 good meaningless game.
