I mean, I really like Carter too but if Williams slips to you to 10, he have to take him. I was totally against trading up for Williams but that didn't happen. I wish Carter the best in Sac-town. He'll do much better than Davion Mitchell no doubt.

Agreed. Williams should be solid and I LOVED the collier pick. We needed a nasty PG
Booker refused to work out for Jazz.
Just like Sarr refused to work out for Atlanta, who wanted to take him.

I still would’ve taken Carter but it’s not like we passed on Whitmore to take Hendricks. In a year or two I may wish we took Carter and it might hurt a little, but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Williams ends up the steal of the draft. He has possibly the highest upside in the draft.

This wouldn’t stop me from drafting someone. If you tag him as best available and he has a chance to be really good you take them. We did with Kanter who refused openly at working out for us

if you pass on a guy because he wouldn't work out for you, you are an idiot. guys play for who drafts them. and they play hard. if a guy is higher on your board, you take him.

If Carter does really well, at least he'll keep up that tradition with lucky number 13 like Kobe, Booker, Mitchell, Lavine, Duren, and Herro did. Continue carrying the torch Carter!
