What's new

Dexter Starts this Sunday

Nice Twist at the end there

Did I call it or did I call it? Like I said, the hot latina chick, what's his name's sis, is going to be the last chick taken captive. I actually thought this toolbox forensics' intern was also involved but wasn't very confident so I bit my tongue.

Oh yeah, I love how Dexter just walks around with an ax in his hand through the college building where the professor was taken, blood trails throughout. Brilliant considering there's cameras every-freakin'-where nowadays. This show is beyond dumb sometimes. It is enjoyable though.

stupid cameras.
on the flipside the college where i attend a world known one here in the netherlands has no security cameras.

season finale this weekend. overall i think the season has been a little better than i expected even though they still come up with some pretty stupid sub plots that hurt the quality. spoiler - i guess brother and sis have a thing for each other now? wth?

so it appears i was sort of right about dude's sis being the last female victim potentially. that is, unless colin hanks 'naps the kid without her knowing somehow. i sort of feel like the drunk cop may buy it, for his "sins" if for no other reason, and the black cop from chicago was sort of introduced this season to supplant him next. also, what's the deal with this geeky intern? him shipping that hand to dexter? is he going off the deep end? could he be the perpetrator next season?

Good chance he will be a villain next year. Dexter crushed his life's work, the video game, and blows him off every time they meet. He would make a decent villain, better than the goofy Colin Hanks. Being an elite hacker and borderline genius, could really screw Dexter over if he wanted.

about time deb found out.
seeing as she found out at the end of book 1.

problem is dexter was pretty careless doing it at the church. seeing as people knew he was gonna be there. very undextery like. kinda out a character.
in the books if i recall correctly deb found out because of her detective skills rather then dexters stupidty(mistake).

now debs and dexter both looks stupid.

May the last scene have been a dream? I hope not.

maybe the finaly go the way of the book
explore the deb knowing dex is a skiller.
try that dynamic
6 seasons with ehr not knowing now knowing adds a different dynamic. shake things up.

if its a dream than the show jumped the shark.
because why in the world would she dream something that is quite possibly real

Why would she dream it? The subconscious is powerful as a mother****er.

This was one of the best seasons. They really stepped it up what a crazy ending!

I agree. I think the acting was fantastic. It was also nice to see old clips of Doakes, I loved that character. I wondered why no one was talking about it.

I just finished watching all of the four latest seasons after quitting on season three, years ago. Pretty good. Not my favorite show ever, kinda predictable at times, but it keeps me entertained.

But why oh why do the writers so enjoy physically and emotionally ****ing Deb at every turn? There are at least one or two really terrible things that happen to her every season. At some point a person can only have so much bad luck. Hasn't Deb hit her limit yet?

Oh, and I was disappointed that they killed off Isaak with so many episodes still to go. He was the most entertaining villain since Trinity, and the season took a nosedive after he bit the dust.

I wasn't dissatisfied. I thought Dexter's girl offered us an interesting "villain" given the direction of the show and his character. On the other hand, Isaak did offer us a great sophistication and wisdom that could have posed a very interesting, and perhaps more satisfying villain so I see what you're saying. I probably would have liked the latter more in a sort of existential, Vincent-Max Collateral type of way, if you've ever seen the movie. That could have played itself with the girl carrying over into next season.

I just didn't like the girl that well. It never seemed like it was a real option, like it was bound to end up badly. Plus I just never really bought that Dex fell for her in the first place. The psychology just didn't make much sense to me. Normally he kills people like her.

Normally. But he was her.
