What's new

did anyone seriously think the jazz had a chance?

me did! and we actually did. but didn't play the right cards. and the spurs still seems not got bored of themselves as a roster. appreciate their patience.

Spurs is by far the better team and Jazz is nowehere near the playoff calibre team. But you gotta try to gain something whtever you face off so tasting the atmosphere and seeing the effort and power of the players in the playoffs, better to prepare yourself more and become more imperturbable. This is true for the young and inexperienced guys. So nothing will change for Harris, Al or Howard dramatically if they still become part of the team next year.

Yes, I truthfully and honestly believed the Jazz COULD win this series. There's still that chance. Yes, your team has been consistently better. All it takes is a bad streak, letting one game go in SA and you'd be the one calling for Pop's head, saying Duncan is too old and needs to go, etc.

Will the Jazz lose? Probably.
Could they still win it? Yes, but unlikely.
Will the Spurs win it all this year? Nope.

according to somewhat efficient market odds, the jazz had around a 5% chance of winning this series

you think the spurs had a 100% chance rather than a 95% chance? should've bet your life savings on the spurs for apparently risk-free money, then, you ****ing ****

corbin is a blithering hayseed and his awful rotations worsened the jazz's 5% chance of winning the series

take this information back to spurtstalk

To win the series? No.

What I wanted to see was us show up, play hard, and competitive. Really make the games at least fun.
I wanted to see how our bigs would play under the big lights of the playoffs. I wanted to see if Harris recent
better play was a sign he could stick around for a while. I wanted to see the big 3 start, and get major minutes together.
I was hoping for some good play from Hayward to really top off his second half of the season.

What we've seen is lazy, uninspired, no hustle, heart, or energy basketball. Horrible substitutions, horrible shooting, coaching laughing on the sidelines, and slopply turnover prone play all over the court. The entire country is laughing at us.

Silly and pointless thread. Those among us that are realistic did not expect the Jazz to win more than one game.

Changing the lineup might help us not embarrass ourselves, but we still won't win. We are missing a strong leader more than anything else.

.....well, they've always laughed at the Jazz....no hip hop to there game! But this is some bad basketball on our part. The Spurs could very easily go all the way....so at least we can say we got beat by the champs!
