Unimportant. Let's move on.

Why? We have a long lapse between SL and training camp.

I said yes but a minor one. It can more than be corrected if they use the space they have from not signing him to land another asset. Such as another pick.

When his trainer Paulie left, I think he decided to skip town with him. DMC may have been offered a contract, but it was likely for just 1 year, given that roster space is going to start getting very tight with the draft picks we've acquired and another year to still carry a little deadweight, if given the right incentives in return.

It's not like we traded him or failed to match an offer. He signed with another team the moment we picked up a little roster competition. Sure, he's gritty and has a decent amount of talent, but he is far from irreplaceable.

The real question is: If Jefferson gets DMC's time and produces DMC's numbers are we excited or are we ticked that Rush/Hayward/Burks/Evans aren't getting the time?

I'd like to see the Jazz pick up a tough guy at some point who devotes himself to overdrive defense and rebounding. I think there's plenty of offense in our rotation as it is. I don't think Demarre is necessarily that guy, however. We can shoot for this with our plethora of 2nd-round picks.

If guy has dreads it looks like he is hustling more than he actually is. Everything is shaking and bouncing around.
Its an illusion. lol

I am glad he is gone. He is way older than all of our core players. And he shot 29% from 3!!! and he is way overrated on defense. Gambled too much..

We know Rush is a better player but I would even submit that Jefferson is also. Jefferson is 33 but he is more disciplined on defense and he is actually a good shooter from the 3 point line. He will be a better mentor to our guys.
I am tired of wing players that cannot shoot. If you can't shoot than we don't want you playing on the perimeter. There is a reason the Spurs and Pacers got so far in the playoffs.
