I believe myself and Hotnickkk were his only supporters pre-draft. Yhen again, KKK supported everyone, and I should admit that Schroeder was my #1 choice for most of pre-draft, w/ MCW only being top choice for a couple weeks (when Jazz made it clear they didn't want Schroeder after workouts).
 
I think its way too early to tell if MCW will be the next greatest thing. Once teams adjust, we'll see how good he really is. That said, what I do like about the kid is his drive. He's seem to have high confidence in himself.

Did anyone mention TB's injury is a fluke fractured finger, not chronic knee issues? Big difference, folks. This injury had nothing to do with his size.
 
Before we rub him down with the anointing oil too much, let's consider that while it is a great start, it's only three games. It's akin to watching a stock take off in the first three days and dumping all of your funds into it when most people would tell you that they'd rather see the long-term results as to not incur too much risk.

Think about how many players you picked up in fantasy leagues based off of a small sample size and how quickly you dumped them a week later once you realized the results were outliers.

MCW was picked at 11. He was off the table when The Jazz picked at 14. They had to trade down to get Burke.

Was Philly willing to trade their pick? If so - link. If not - this thread is meaningless

But but but....this is the way it works. If someone liked a certain player who the jazz passed over, and then blows up unexpectedly, then it was obviously a huge screw up on the part of the jazz and every single other fan who didn't love the guy, since everyone with a brain knows the future in every single case. There is no place for rationality in sports fandom!
