Same rule applies in most reptiles. I breed variety of gecko's and depending what is the demand you can either increase or decrease temperature of incubation resulting in more female or male hatchlings. Yet another proof of common ancestry.

Fish ( just ask any icefishermen what happens when they put their fresh frozen catch in the sink and start pouring water on it) and wood frogs can do that too.... But I would not call it death as they are technically not dead yet.
