DNC

When I was in highschool here in NZ, there was a Ms. Ferguson who looked like she was in her 30s ... she was the only "Ms." at our school at the time, and it made us all wonder about all sorts of things ... is she married? is she divorced? is she single, but don't want to get married?

Then she got married to another teacher at the same school.. (a really nice guy, chemistry teacher, Mr. McKinnon), but Ms. Ferguson kept her surname, and the mystery still remained to this day.
Great story

I assume Mr. would have pretty much the same stigma for people curious about the marital status of men. My attitude is, "who cares?"

Well, I dunno.. may be, may be not, as there is only 1 prefix for male namely "Mr.", but there are 3 for female namely "Miss", "Mrs." and "Ms" ... higher chance for curiosity.

Going back to my highschool situation, there were young teachers who used "Miss" and older teachers who used "Mr." ... of all the female teacher (80% of all teachers at my school), only 1 female teacher used "Ms." ... i.e., Ms. Ferguson, which is why it was a curious thing for young minds. Nothing to be curious about male teachers as they all used "Mrs."

It was not invented just a few decades ago.
I just looked it up. The first known use of Ms. was in 1901 but it remained virtually unknown until 1970 when a feminist made a plea on a radio station in favor of it. Later that year the feminist movement adopted it. Growing up in Utah I never heard it used before about 1980. So it's relatively recent even though I imagine that anyone under the age of 30 probably thinks it's been in common usage forever.

Trump wants Russia to hack us, Hillary is a vindictive bitch, yay us.

Example: ExxonMobile stops donating to the Clinton Foundation. Couple months later, Hillary calls for them to be investigated for their climate change activities. Only a fool wouldn't think those two things are mere coincidence.

We picked literally the two worst candidates possible. Even Thriller might be a better choice than these two morons.

She was asked whether Exxon should be subject to an investigation at a New Hampshire campaign stop by Jordan Cichon, a volunteer for 350 Action, a climate activist group that published a video of her comments.
“Yes, yes they should,” she said of a potential Justice Department investigation. “There's a lot of evidence [Exxon] misled people.

Just out of curiosity: are you saying that, when asked, Clinton should have defended Exxon-Mobil, because that is what a person of integrity would do (defend someone who had done something wrong because they were paid money)?
