What's new

Do we have another trade in us by 3pm ET ?

If the Blazers still want to swap Dre for Devin Harris, why not add Memo and Greg Oden to the mix?

1. Memo
2. Raja
3. Big Al

Do not want.

1. Picks
2. SJax
3. Greg Oden

Want.

Good luck moving Okur with his injuries and 10 million on the books for next season. We would have to take a bad contract back in turn or give up one of our newly acquired picks probably.

AK: IMO he is not going anywhere because the only thing he will bring back is an overpaid player with a long deal. And the Jazz aren't going to take that risk with the new CBA coming up.

Jefferson: I think we will keep him because he can play the C and PF spot and because he is playing well I don't see him being traded.

Millsap: I see Millsap (Packaged with picks or CJ Miles or Bell) being traded but only for a legit starting wing player or a REAL center who clogs the lane.

Okur: Nobody wants him and the Jazz don't want to trade him for a worse contract. Okur is staying unless somebody offers an expiring. Even than I am not sure the Jazz want to dump him for nothing.

Hopefully staying: Hayward, Evans, Harris, Favors, Fesenko, Watson,

that was my initial reaction. we'll see at 1 what greggy has in him.

Do you really think he's involved at all?

I think KOC comes to him with a deal, tells Greggy he thinks it's a good idea and as long as it doesn't result in taking on more salary back, he rubber stamps it.

When KOC goes, Greggy will hire whoever is the best at blowing smoke up his *** and then this franchise is toast.

There was an article on hoopshype, stating that NJ contacted the Jazz about doing a deal for AK and his expiring contract. The two teams could not agree on a deal. KOC asked King if there was anything else. King said how about Deron Williams? KOC said, if you are serious let's see if we can make a deal. So the Nets seemed to initiate the trade talks if you believe the story.

I understand that Millsap would bring the greatest return, but that is because he is the more valuable player.

My opinion, if they can't trade Okur, AK, Bell, Price, or Elson... Stand pat. The rest are, and should be part of the future.

No more trades. The Deron trade was a mitigation of future risk. Any other moves would likely entail more risk. The Jazz are very risk-averse. Now they stand pat and look to the draft.

I'll be upset when there is not a trade. While I liked the D-Will trade, it didn't address the major problem this team has that is preventing it from being competitive. I understand we may no longer be competing this year, but I expect them to try.
