What's new

Do you feel the front office is to blame?

Don't be putting this on the front office. Hayward strung us out all morning. He let IT know at 9:00 am EST, but didn't let us know until 8:00 PM EST because he was writing his apologist piece.

I have never been so negative about a player leaving... But that was pretty Richard Chotchski. I would say that to his face and his wife's face too. This will light a fire in Dennis Lindsey, Quin, Bryant, Gobert, etc. Our organization played nice ball last year, but I think we are playing pissed all next year. That's my call and we have every reason to.

We can't just trade off our best player every time his contract is almost up. If the jazz did Business like u want them to, they'll never get anywhere in none stop building mode

But it sure seems we have been in non-stop building mode. Draft and sign vets to try to get to the playoffs...get to the playoffs...lose key players to free agency and/or trade...draft and sign vets to get to the playoffs...rinse and repeat. Happened with Boozer/D Will team, happened with Millsap/Jefferson team...happening now with Hayward/Gobert team? At some point it must be acknowledged that doing the same thing and expecting different results is kind of nuts, right? Look at Ainge? They guy bucks the status quo and builds teams that can compete for real. I want to see our FO do something different for once. But they are happy with building a team that looks exciting and makes a splash then start over with the same model. Slow and steady might put butts in the seats but it isn't enough to really compete in today's NBA. DL better pull a huge ****ing unicorn from his *** to cover this one. Didn't even work a sign and trade. How many times have we lost assets for nothing? That's the travesty.
