What's new

Do you give them a call if you're the FO?

What better way to stifle Donovan's future than to bring in an aging superstar?

Like, I don't know a comparison, but what if the Bulls brought in one of the league greats the season after Jordan's rookie season? Does that make any kind of sense?

This is Gobert and Mitchell's team. You bring in talent that compliments them. You DO NOT bring in talent that puts them in the back seat.

These hoes ain't loyal!

If Lebron and PG13 go to LA they really could challenge the Warriors because of that length. They would match up great against them and just go with a center less team like the Warriors.

Thats where they go right? It makes the most sense I think.

Haha. Oh brother.

Lebron or PG wouldn't interfere at all with Gobert. And Donovan could easily have the same year he did this year plus more. There are plenty of points to go around for two dominant scorers.

Yes, you most definitely bring them in. You would be an idiot to decline because you think it would hinder the growth of Mitchell. It would actually be great for Mitchell.

I think you're wrong.

I don't want a mercenary team. We don't have the building blocks for that. We have a real core now. We've talked about our core for years, but now we have one, a legit one. Something you build on, not something you jam a superstar into and tell it to work. The strength of our team is our team. You don't scrap that for a year or two rental of a superstar that will absolutely and unquestionably demand that our "team" (our strength) take a back seat to their superstar show.

Even thinking of that makes me want to puke. Puke hard.

PG is good but overrated. Does he really play all out all the time?

Lebron top 3 all time, but do we change our offense for him? Give the ball to Lebron, and let him run the offense?

It's too tempting to pass up, but there are some big question marks about the reality of them here.

Sure, you make the call, to at least try and put Utah on the map somewhat slightly.

Realistically though, you aim for about 4 years from now, when hopefully the warriors are no longer ridiculous, Houston is weaker, and LeBron has declined.

have to hit pretty big in the draft at least 1 more time and it needs to be within this draft or the next, and hopefully significant internal improvement from somebody (Come on Dante!).

That's the road map for a team like the Jazz. Of course you don't stop trying to get a big FA just in case one of the 'stunners' says yes, and that changes the Jazz landscape.
