Does Anyone Even Care Anymore? Gamethread Jazz at Tankers 4/7/13 @ 6pm MST

Lakers are probably going to have to win 4 out of their last 5 at least to get in the playoffs. They have games against Golden State, San Antonio and Houston left on their schedule and have to win two of those games. They'll probably win their other games against NOLA and Porty.

The Jazz can't count on the Lakers finishing worse than 4-1, the way the refs are calling their games down the stretch.

We have to finish 3-1. And I think we have a decent chance at it - we already know vs OKC is a very winnable game, and there's a very good chance Memphis has nothing to play for by the time they play the Jazz in the season finale. I will rage if we drop one of the Minny games.

Favors looked like a multiple time NBA defensive player of the year type player, easily the better upside between him and Kanter and it's because of his defense.

That is true. It is starting to bother me that everyone on the team including Corbin talks about his defense being so amazing an yet he still gets back up minutes.

San Antonio can help control who they play.

They want the Jazz over the Lakers because they own us. They will play against Lakers.

They need to be careful what they ask for...Jazz take them in 6 games in Rd. 1 !

Favors changes the game in so many ways. I think he puts a little fear in the opposing offense. I lost count of how many shots he altered tonight. Great win!

This was a very fun game, it reminded me of the 90's jazz, and how physical and competitive that team was. This team competed hard got most of the loose balls. Al's defense was still putrid, but thought he went all out and attacked the paint more then usual, was aso damn proud of how Foye competed on defense. Defensively it was easily his best game of the year. I remember in the third quarter, Mo was getting killed on defense being posted up by Thompson, and finally Ty put Foye on him, thy went right into him again in the post, and Foye forced him to take a 17 ft fade-away shot that bricked.

Thought everyone steped up tonight.

This game against OKC is going to be intense. I think Mo and Al want in the post season. Favors gonna do what Favors gonna do.

The extra passes on offence are great to see. Did they finally figure out dumping it in to al to watch him pump fake numerous times isnt the answer?

Some very nice defence in parts. Great game to watch (glad I took the day off work).

Still surprised they actually allowed a Draymond Green dribble drive to happen instead of a Curry iso.
