Does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs ......

Enes is playing pretty well and contributing actually, but KD was unbelievably bad. Worst game of his career? And Westbrook is usually like a rabid dog. It's still effective 50% of the time though.

I wish everything went well and he stayed in SLC, leading the score punch of the front man trio.

Kanter played only 19 minutes and scored 6 points on 7 shots.

MAX PLAYER BABY!!!

Durant scored 21 points on 33 shots with 7 TOs!

MAX PLAYER BABY!!!!!

But in all seriousness I am glad the Thunder got the L last night lol.

Nah it's because the rest of the bench aside from a few are lesser to opponent benches.

I am being facetus this whole thread. Making fun of the haters. I love Kanter I believe he will become a all star. Of course he is not the reason OKC is not championship material.

You know what they say sometimes a player needs a change of scenery. The high mountains must have made him dizzy.

In my opinion, it was Corbin's poor handling of Kanter that spoiled things for him in Utah. I really believe, maybe I'm wrong, that Kanter is a good guy and in his immaturity said some foolish things, and his frustration I think was understandable. If Quin had been the coach from the start, things would've been a lot different. Did anyone hear Withey's interview with Locke on Thursday. He flat out said he loved being in Utah despite not getting minutes after Rudy came back. And why? Because Quin leveled with him and said he wouldn't be playing much but that he liked what he was doing out there and wouldn't hesitate to use him if necessary. So, he knew when Rudy came back he wouldn't be playing much but was able to live with it because Quin was honest with him. I thought though that Quin should've given him more minutes and Quin did make at least one statement when he said he should have. If Quin had been coach from the start, I think Kanter would've been brought along in a way that would've maximized his talent.

Here is the difference. Withey is a hard working professional. Kanter is a prima donna. Withey is working hard and giving all of his effort so it is easy for Quin to praise him and let him know he appreciates his efforts. Corbin did not have that luxury because Kanter did not do this. Kanter apparently told the Jazz that he did not want to be drafted here because we had good players ahead of him. The Jazz have had a pretty good record of player development. People rag on the Jazz for always going after the sure thing. Kanter had the highest potential and could have been a star, unfortunately it did not work out that way. With his skills on offense there was a reasonably good chance the Jazz could develop him to be adequate defensively. Quin would have been better then Corbin undoubtedly but it ultimately falls back to the player. In his first season or two I remember Kanter seemed to be a very hard worker and I was really excited about his long term potential. After his shoulder injury it seemed to me that the effort was gone. In the end it comes down to attitude and Kanter's went from bad to worse as time progressed. This change in attitude was obvious to me and he went from one of my favorite players to an annoyance at wasted potential fairly quickly. If Kanter had brought a Gobert quality attitude the Jazz would be a true contender. The rest of the bench would be very different but the Jazz would be tough. For example. If Kanter had stayed the Jazz could have gotten D Booker instead of Trey Lyles (I like Lyles but in the fantasy team with a good attitude Kanter that would have been a better pick.) That would have meant zero minutes for TB and CJ at the 2. The Jazz may have also been able to get a better wing as a free agent instead of Trevor Booker. (that would have been sad because Booker gave me one of my all time favorite quotes (He got his 20 points and the L as usual) That would have made the Jazz a stronger contender and maybe they would have gone after a veteran point guard as insurance for a run.

I put most of this on Kanter. The Jazz had faith in him to draft him. They had faith that they could build him. Unfortunately he did not have the Chutzpah of a champion. Based on how he played for us and has played since. I am glad we do not have him as a max contract and I hope he continues to play well but never wins anything. Looking back at that draft it was a weak draft. It is sad that the Jazz won the 3 pick in a year with out a true star at the 3 and that Kanter did not live up to his potential.

lol, got this gem of a neg from Diamond77:

You are stupid...Thunder didn't lost the game because of Kanter. You are just a poor hater.

For what it's worth, I didn't blame Kanter for the loss... hell I didn't even acknowledge the loss. Some people though, y'know?

I'm thinking of making a pull-string Kanter fan doll. I've been researching this guy's post history for material, but the problem is he keeps saying the same thing. Come on man, I need more than just one or two lines if this doll is going to be a hit seller...

I'll rep you for this one, and neg you for saying wowie and your dumb *** response to diamond on one of the last two pages. Rep equality.

A well deserved neg in response to your continuous arguing or negging my posts no matter what I write if it concerns Kanter.

Um, what?

In this calendar year, you have negged me three times. I've repped you once and negged you twice. The first neg was for calling Favors a soft b**** a couple weeks ago, and the second was in this thread for your comment about Kanter being a player to step it up in the playoffs while Hayward shrinks in big games.

I wrote it because I wanted that our best players "bite the bullet" in crucial games for the playoff race, even if they had little injuries.

That was definitely more than a little injury. Favors had no lift against the Clippers the previous game, nor against the Mavs the next night. He was clearly nowhere near his normal self.

And again, the only other post I negged you on in this calendar year was the one I cited earlier. I didn't even neg you for the Kanter bit either - it was the Hayward part.

Guys, guys, come on. No matter how much we disagree about how much Kanter sucks, at least we can all agree that he's a big, hairy *****.

Another big performance by Kanter, 28 points in 25 minutes with 12-13 from the field! He is a key factor in the series!

I hope KD and Westbrook bolt, not LA, and Kanter continue to get his stats and the Thunder finish 20-62
