Lowe reiterated on his pod to watch Lauri (he had less caveats cuz he wasn't on TV) and the Spurs were the team to watch... brought it up with GS.

But I'm sure we are just listening.

I just wanna say that I love when deals make sense.

I love it more when the deal makes sense… but more for my side.

Lauri + Steph and Draymond is a ****ing force to be reckoned with… for a time.

If we can get their draft… damn.

Woj just went on ESPN and said the Warriors have switched gears and are aggressively targeting Markannen.
Look... I would hate it if we helped them win a title... but I don't think they have enough juice and if we get their entire draft including super swaps... its a great bet against the Warriors dynasty crumbling.

Isnt their entire draft capital just two first round picks and swaps?

I would like to add that the Warriors success is built on Steph Curry. They were nobody before he popped and they got lucky on some picks after tanking. I don’t think being big spenders is going to save them from being bad.

Steph Curry is 36. Basically anybody that hasn’t been LeBron James caps out at 38 before they completely fall apart. Steph Curry ain’t Lebron James.

Golden State doesnt own a single first round pick from any other teams. I'm not too enthused by what they can offer.
Super swaps in 25/27/29/31 and unprotected picks in 26/28/30... Kuminga might be fun for a year... they have already missed the playoffs in recent history and will still be dependent on Steph being healthy and Green being sane. I prefer the Spurs deal if we get those picks but I said earlier in the year there is a package they could offer.

They have one obligation to Wizards that is easy to plan around or clear up with a minor asset... like one they could get in the Josh Green three way.

How do we get 2030 if it's owed to Washington?

With Steph and Draymond as old as they are I am super enthused about their picks. Particularly 27,29 and 31. I like those picks more than the hawks picks.

They owe a top 20 protected pick to the Wiz in 2030 that converts into a second. I think you could give Washington like 4-5 seconds and have that obligation removed. Green going to Hornets may net them something they can re-route or maybe something else is involved.

You could own GS whole draft in a powerful way for 7 years.
