Donald Fires FBI Director who's investigating Russian Election Hacking

Please explain what my "ilk" is? You are the most heavily indoctrinated and biased person I have ever encountered. Your post has been reported for trolling. You have zero reason to bring me into your delusion besides trolling. I haven't engaged with you in weeks if not months. Please stop polluting the minds of our youth with your uninformed biased vitriol. I beg you to get a new profession where you will do less damage. As a rapist maybe. Seriously **** off.

Just in the past few days you posted about how Trump will be re-elected. You insinuated that we weren’t “understanding” enough to his supporters/voters and that would result in his reelection.

It wasn’t trolling but a response to your line of thinking. If you want I’ll quote your post. Would that make you feel better? If you don’t want people responding to your public posts, why do you keep posting in a public forum?

While your report has zero merit the post I’ll report where you suggest I Become a rapist is absurdly inappropriate. It’s telling when put under pressure you attack others personally and tell them to become rapists. How you thought that was somehow an appropriate response is beyond me.

Is that really the type of message you can be proud of? Do you feel good saying nasty and absurd things like that? Well enjoy the infraction you’ve got coming your way. At some point you gotta learn you can’t attack people like that. Ignore button exists for a reason.

Fantastic read:

http://www.courant.com/opinion/insight/hc-op-insight-london-leaving-gop-20180827-story.html

Tuesday morning, I stopped at the Trumbull town clerk’s office and did something that I never thought I would do. I resigned from the Republican Party and registered as an unaffiliated voter.

I was letting go of a lot of history. I have been a loyal member of the Republican Party for most of my adult life. I have been a member of my local GOP town committee for many years and I have been elected, as a Republican, to the Trumbull town council five times. I served, as a Republican on other local boards, as well...

Disavowing my party is no easy thing. I have made many friends over the years in the Republican Party. I am saddened by the fact that many will be more than offended by what I am saying. My decision was made after considerable soul-searching.

But I can't take it any more. Trump does not represent true Republican values. He does not represent my values.

And more and more republicans are jumping ship. So while his base holds steady, it’s his base after all, everyone else is leaving.

I think this November will be a step in the right direction. And by 2020, I think the Republican Party will be looking for more moderate and moral leadership.

Majority rule. Yeah, sure....

http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/404720-juan-williams-trumps-majority-is-fake?amp

"President Trump likes to complain about "Fake News."
So, here's some very real news for him:

Republican control of Capitol Hill and the White House is based on a "fake majority."

A majority of the Senate now represents just 18 percent of the nation's population," David Wasserman, an editor for The Cook Political Report, wrote in a recent New York Times column......

......Think about this - America's politics are being run by a cabal in the Senate that fails to represent 82 percent of the American people.

......Trump has normalized many horrible things in our politics: racism, lying, scapegoating and corruption.

Future historians may look back and conclude one of the most corrosive things he normalized was minority-posing-as-majority tyranny that cheats the majority of the American people out of their democracy."

So is trump complaining that his AG didn’t cover-up these republican crimes? Would he prefer his AG to look the other way and let these crimes slide?

I’m sure republicans everywhere will push back against Trump, right?

What do you think this does for the future of the GOP? America isn’t becoming less diverse. Less urban. They can ramrod their grossly unpopular agenda down our throats now. But the more the resistance mobilizes and the more people become enraged, what’s going to happen?

Yep. And with a solid conservative Supreme Court in the offing, it guarantees difficult times ahead. It seems like reactionary forces in American society are in ascendency now, when they cannot possibly triumph in the long run.

Slide until after November.

"Drain the Swamp" was never meant to apply to corrupt Republicans. They get a pass in Trumplandia. Seriously, can you imagine if each new president decides which of his enemies he orders the Department of Justice to go after, for whatever reasons each new president decides are good enough? How can Trump be anything but the worst and most corrupt president in this nation's history? An approval rating in the low 40's? That's a whole lot of American citizens in serious need of a civics class. It's that's simple. Thet need to take, and pass, a high school civics class. Apparently, they flunked the first time around....

I wish coastal elitists would stop insulting those who come from the south and Midwest who’ve worked hard for their positions.

So Bob Woodward's book on the Trump administration may be revealing...

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/09/04/politics/bob-woodward-book-donald-trump-fear/index.html

"President Donald Trump's closest aides have taken extraordinary measures in the White House to try to stop what they saw as his most dangerous impulses, going so far as to swipe and hide papers from his desk so he wouldn't sign them, according to a new book from legendary journalist Bob Woodward.

Woodward's 448-page book, "Fear: Trump in the White House," provides an unprecedented inside-the-room look through the eyes of the President's inner circle. From the Oval Office to the Situation Room to the White House residence, Woodward uses confidential background interviews to illustrate how some of the President's top advisers view him as a danger to national security and have sought to circumvent the commander in chief."

I find some of the quotes from Kelly and Mattis to be especially damning.

Smfh, just terrifying.

Boy, I'll say. Sounds like this book will be jawdropping. And with Woodward as the author, the most credible look inside the West Wing to date. I hope this starts to really open more eyes to just who we have sitting in the Oval Office.

Lol
Thank god they are

This is one book about this whole mess that I plan to read. Seems more credible than the rest.

Every time I hear Trump speak or read a tweet, I cannot imagine the panic that is occurring at the White House.

So Bob Woodward's book on the Trump administration may be revealing...

Wow. Crazy to hear the way Trump is in casual conversation(bragging incessantly) and how casually he throws Kellyanne under the bus. Then she stands up for herself and casts blame on everyone else.

So the President's tweets tonight are laughable and weak. He will lose the credibility contest for sure. I'll be reading this book soon as well, but already in the excerpts released, it seems clear the president's top aides and cabinet officials regard him as unfit for office. Denials from Mattis and Kelly, but that won't cut it. The emperor has no clothes.

He apparently thinks Washington politicians should enact stricter libel laws. It must be so frustrating to want to be a dictator and have our wretched laws get in his way.
