Notice that he doesn't say he is proud to endorse trump because he thinks Trump is a good choice for president or because he thinks Trump has some good ideas for the country or anything.

He is simply proud to endorse trump because trump is the party's clear frontrunner. That's it. That's the reason. If Satan or Hitler were the partys frontrunner (not that far fetched really) then he would also be proud to endorse them as well

Don the mob boss making his will be known. This isn’t exactly subtle. We all know what he’s telling the conservatives on the Supreme Court to do. In particular, kavanaugh. Since Trump went to the mat for him, now he’s demanding the favor be repaid.

Yet another example on why the Supreme Court needs to be reformed. Why can’t we just expand it? Expand it to 25. Every case gets a random selection of justices of 9, 11, 15, or whatever number of justices? Strict ethical and financial guidelines? Term limits? Make it so each president appoints a certain number? There are things that we can do to make the court less ideological and less corrupt. Who doesn’t want that?

So much truth in this tweet: I mean, we know that’s what they’re counting on but a better lawyer wouldn’t say it out loud. Though maybe this is part of the Trump pattern of “so unacquainted with basic norms of decency or ethics that they don’t even clock that this sounds bad to normal people.”

Would be awesome if because of this dumbass lawyers comment kavanaugh recused himself from this decision.

What’s stopping him from doing this again in 2024? What’s stopping him from inciting yet another insurrection? What’s stopping him from getting his angry cult riled up and ordering them to “fight like hell or else we won’t have a country anymore” and killing more Americans?

This is why he should be left off the ballot. Republicans can choose a different candidate for 2024.

That would be awesome. And TBH, completely warranted!

This is yet another example sadly of how Trump sees the world. Everything is transactional. There’s no code of ethics or constitution. It’s a simple mob boss mentality. Sad that so many republicans, Christians, etc have adopted this way of thinking. Viewing your wife, kids, friends, coworkers, etc as merely objects that “owe you” is such a shallow and cold way of seeing the world.

That’s what ridiculous about these trials.

1. Trump delays them as much as possible.
2. If he wins, he’ll kill them off, either with pardoning himself or having his AG kill them off. Even if he’s found guilty, he can’t be hauled off to prison cuz he’s president.

He’s gaming the system. We need to be smarter about this stuff.

I wished more Christians were offended by this. I know many LDS like to feel persecuted and disrespected. They just don’t see how the people doing the most disrespect of their religion are the political hacks they elect. The entire Christian coalition should be utterly put off by this. Instead, they’ll rally behind Trump because sadly, much of American Christianity isn’t based on the gospel, it’s based on (conservative) white identity aka white nationalism.

True Christians should be put off by this. And they should be searching for ways to serve fellow Americans and ease real issues that people face; loneliness, homelessness, substance abuse, poverty, etc. instead, it’s the same old culture wars that we’ve fought for decades; lower taxes on rich people, sticking it to the LGBT community, and reminding immigrants, women, and blacks that they’re second class citizens.

Trump sure doesn't like America as much as I do. I think America is awesome. I love my life. Im extremely happy. Trump on the other hand.........Former president presented a dark portrait of the United States. He called it a "failing" nation, beset by "terrorists" and immigrants from "mental asylums" pouring over the U.S.-Mexico border. Everything's a mess.

Maybe he should move.
