Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States.

Its not really new news but what do you all think of Trump appointing Myron Ebell to lead the EPA transition team?

I personally hope it does not happen. He is not a good choice at all and his think tank is paid for by Exxon. Seems like Trump is opposed to things like that, I hope he sticks to that principle.

Although Trumps says global warming was created by the Chinese to hurt USA manufacturing.

Shocked that Trump is just as corrupt as those whom he criticized during the campaign.

Anyone else read NPR's analysis of his first 100 days? NPR examined his plans.

* Most of which, Shock /s, are either DOA in congress (i. e. Term limits).

Or

* Won't help high school diploma whitey. I mean let's be honest, repealing Dodd-Frank to bring on another 2008 crash will do wonders for middle America:

"The banking sector is another place for Trump to focus. During the campaign he said he wanted to "get rid of" the Dodd-Frank law that reshaped the banking industry after the 2008 recession. If repealing the entire law seems a heavy lift, one possibility would be to try to eliminate the so-called Volcker rule, which prohibits banks from making risky investments.

Republicans make no secret of their dislike of the recent Federal Communications Commission ruling that protects net neutrality. The Trump administration could also attempt to repeal a regulation that makes more workers eligible for overtime."

Or

* will be a complete handout to billionaires like him. Example, his tax plan. But that's ok. Uneducated whitey voted for this. You built this. Enjoy it whitey. None of these plans will bring back manufacturing or pensions. But facts never got in your way before the election. I just hope that whitey doesn't just blame obama for everything in 2020 once trump and his billionaire class have taken the remaining wealth from uneducated whitey.

At this point, all I can do is hold Congress and the President accountable. I can't roam the streets in protest, not that I likely would even if health permitted. I'm too chicken. But I can write my government officials. I've been doing it some the past couple of years, from local to state. I've gotten some good replies back that have helped me better understand their positions. Even if I still don't agree, at least they know how I feel. It probably doesn't make a difference in Republican Utah (they don't need my vote), but it is all I can do at this point.

If you disagree, stay aware and engaged. Let more than just Jazzfanz and Facebook know.
