Ron Paul, Rand's dad, has libertarian notions of just getting the govt cut down to size and focused on constitutional duties. I like both, but to make that an effective political combo will take more wit than the Pauls have mustered thus far. Too much anti-Union rhetoric and religious pandering might draw in some rednecks, but it should be done without putting off the marginal folks who aren't either enthusiastic or fearful of their government. Mark Levin has just written a book entitled "Plunder and Deceit" which makes the case that the rising generation needs to do their own civil rights crusade to prevent the boomers from just saddling them with more debt and govt. than they can carry. Boomers have robbed their grandkids under liberal social spending/causes. No way should those kids still like the liberals who have cast literal chains of slavery and clamped the locks on them.
The young folks who buy the liberal lies have been misled, indoctrinated in vacuous political visions. Folks like Revolution just don't see the handwriting on the wall. They are fighting yesterdays phony "revolution".
