Care to complain about this?

Everything I talked about has happened too, so I'm not sure what kind of point you're trying to make.

And obviously you can't take the opinion of three women and extract it towards a nation. I was just trying to get you to see that the women who are disagree with you, and are even offended by what you say. You're not always going to be right, neither am I. But it seems like you're blinding yourself to what everybody here is saying.

it's hard to take your critiques seriously when 2% of University students (at my school) attempt suicide, and 70% report depression. Your criticism of safe spaces shows that you aren't really all too familiar with the debacle of mental wellness among college students continent-wide. I'd want your daughters to have a safe environment that isn't triggering her into suicide-- and so would you I'm sure.

No professor at my school tells us to not hold strong opinions. They encourage us to debate. If not calling Asian people squints is considered "coddling", then I guess I'll continue to coddle.

And that's the funny thing about all of this frankly ******** PC criticism. Only idiots would perceive something as complex as political correctness as binary.

Utah has allowed carry at universities in forever and there has yet to be a college shooting in Utah. All that despite the very high prescription drug use.

You "squints"/coddling example is absurd.

You've gone full hack.

This is dumb. Why am I even doing this? I hate these dumb threads and I hate all of you. Go find a safe space and please, never leave.

A student center for gay, bisexual, and transgender students at the University of Michigan created a safe space Tuesday to protect students frightened by an approaching debate on the subject “Does Feminism Have a Free Speech Problem?”

“We recognize that the rhetoric of the speakers featured in this event is incredibly harmful to many members of our campus community,” says the announcement by Michigan’s Spectrum Student Center. “The Spectrum Center will be providing a supportive alternative space this evening and holding extended staffed hours until 9pm. [Emphasis theirs] There will be no program; our intent is to offer a relaxing, positive space for students who want to gather in community.”

The Spectrum Center is a student center that offers various programs and services through a framework of “sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.”

The upcoming event that has Spectrum residents so upset is an appearance by British journalist Milo Yiannopoulos hosted by The Michigan Review. Yiannopoulos, a gay man and an intense critic of feminism, is currently on his so-called “Dangerous ****** Tour” which is taking him to dozens of schools in the U.S., United Kingdom, and several other countries. At Michigan, he is scheduled to debate feminist writer Julie Bindel on whether feminism is encouraging the suppression of free speech. Both of the speakers are known firebrands who have been barred from speaking at several schools in the U.K.

This. This is the stupid **** I'm talking about. These kids cannot handle adversity. What are they going to do in the real world when they botch a sale? When they get fired? When they lose their customer money? Good grief people, how the hell can anybody think this is a good thing?

When did college become pansy daycare. Absolutely ridiculous!

Trump dominates once again and the rnc must be absolutely ****ting themselves. Only chance rubio/cruz/kasich have is if two of the three drop out imo, but they're all too close for a clear one to emerge. And does Carson realise he is still in the race?

I always chuckle at Trumps we will make America great again speeches. His crowds shout the "wall!" and who is going to pay for it "Mexico!".
Mexico is not paying for our wall. It's like a teen prep rally. Really most political speechers are a joke nowadays. Or worse than ever before.

Hillary is such a damn robot, she inspires no one. Not even her base. Trump speaks from the cuff, and even though most of it is complete bull ****
its understandable why some flock to him. The problem is his entire platform is a lie. Christian? Pro life? laughable. He will carpet bomb
Syria, and kill thousands of children and women under his plan. If that's what you feel you need to do, ok but you cant call yourself pro life
if you are willing to sacrifice thousands to try and erase and ideology (which will never go away).

I just heard that he won overwhelming with Hispanics. Even those he insults seem to love him. It is astounding.

I didn't say it was going to make or break his candidacy.
You mean the 8% of the caucus goers? So come general election time he will get what? 5% of them?

Sorry that was snarkier (is that a word) than I meant it. It is surprising but I think the Latino vote kill shim in the general.

I just don't get it.
This

And I don't know anybody who actually likes trump.

Yet it's looking like he will win.

What gives?

Utah has allowed carry at universities in forever and there has yet to be a college shooting in Utah. All that despite the very high prescription drug use.

Which is maybe because the education environment has been made less inflammatory due to professors being told by administration to not provoke arguments. It feeds right back into my point. Is that what you want?

You "squints"/coddling example is absurd.

You've gone full hack.

No, you're not even understand what I'm saying. People characterize political correctness as this monolith, which it very obviously isn't. That was my point. If that's absurd to you, then fine.

it's the election of populism. People are full-blown going against the establishments on both sides. And rightfully so-- citizens across our continent have every reason to be sick and tired for establishment politicians who protect their own interests and don't really give a **** about the working/middle class constituents that they're supposed to represent. Trump panders to this population by promising jobs, and safety, and strength against international forces. Bernie promises a better welfare net, better schools, better infrastructure, better health care, and less hawkish foreign policy.

People are tired of "politicians", and want people who share an equal distaste for politicians like they do. That's why Bernie went from fringe-candidate to now a politician (who as of today) is leading Hillary on national voting polls. THat's why Trump is destroying his robotic competitors. They don't stand a chance against him-- it's over, quite frankly. Trump's momentum won't be stopped.

Now the question becomes who we want to run against Trump (unless you're for Trump yourself). If it's Hillary vs Trump, she's going to lose== specifically because of the environment of this election. Establishment politicians simply aren't trusted as much anymore.

Sounds about right.

I will be so pissed if trump wins.

One thing trump does is gets people to the polls.
I have never voted before, but I will this time around simply to cast my vote for whoever trumps opponent is

It is absurd because it is you that is missing the point. Your example proves it.

This has gone far past racist language and provoking fights. It has gone into don't say or do anything that might offend anyone at any point. it has gotten to the point of silencing opposing opinions. That is something I do not embrace.
