What's new

Donovan and Dennis need your help, JazzFanz! -- Lakers @ Jazz 4/3/2018 7:00 pm MST

Priority #1 for Gobert in the off-season: 1 on 1 time every day with a basketball style jug machine. The man has no ability to catch passes unless they are at the rim.

Part of the problem is everyone passes the ball to him at different spots. Particularly Rubio.

9 guys got playing time tonight. For better or worse. . . this is our playoff rotation.

Gobert - Favors - Jerebko - Crowder - Jingles - O’Neale - Mitchell - Exum and Rubio

Donovan and Ricky combined for 57 points - 12 rebounds - 10 assists

Hell yeah!

Jazz still need another dynamic wing and a bench. . . but this team is dangerous even when they play down to their competition.

I'm not entirely convinced we played down to our competition, LA was just on fire at the beginning and in the 3rd our second unit played like trash. As Ellis said, we need a better 6th man. Well Dante is alright I guess but everyone else is shaky at best.

Not a bad night for the Jazz. OKC and Portland loses. Denver wins but they are still out of playoffs. Spurs are killing the Clippers, if this continues then Clippers are toast. I give the Lakers credit for sticking with the Jazz. They were undermanned and played us tough. Jazz have not been that impressive winning at home lately.

Don't get me wrong a win is a win but I am a little concerned about their effort at home. The crowd sucked tonight. It was almost like a church mtg. during the game. Rubio and DM were awesome tonight, so was Rudy and Favors. Jingles got it going but our bench was pretty weak tonight. I know they didn't get too many minutes but they still need to play better. Just glad the Jazz were able to pull this one out.

Spurs only up by 7.

Jazz move up to 5th and would play the hot Spurs. Not a match-up I want in the first round. I would rather play portland or minnesota than the Spurs right now. Maybe the Spurs catch portland and we end up playing them. The West is so tough even the first round matches are going to be competitive.

Channing Frye was very complimentary of the Jazz and the fans in his postgame interview. Nice to hear.
