Not elite yet but obviously a special talent and we are incredibly lucky to have him. I have no doubt that with development from our coaching staff combined with his talent, work ethic and IQ he will reach elite status eventually.

Total agree don’t crown him a king until he has shown that he is truly elite. He has had Elite moments and moments he has played bad. Overall his season has been somewhat disappointing.

Your absolutely right! The kid has finally put together some good games but he's not an all-star and he's not a HOF candidate, either! If he ever improves his shot selection and court decisions he will improve by a factor of 10! He's moving in that direction, which is a good thing!

Sophomore slump is a common term around the league. His stats from this year were poor for half of this season but MOST players go through this. That's because teams and scouts have the offseason to breakdown your game and plan for players who surprised the first year. Then the second year the things that worked before dont anymore and you have to learn how to make adjustments.

If you cant tell, he is learning how to make adjustments. In 3 months time this jabber about Monte Ellis will be as absurd as the standard Saint Cy Troll post.
