It's personal and I would prefer to write it, as an article that would require some thought. But I had a feeling about DM the first time I saw him play in Summer League last year, not just in October. I mentioned this before in threads. So, I'm not claiming to be a great judge of talent. Just a feeling I had about him. It happens to everyone, just that it seems it has happened to me more than most.
 
Eenie you really think you were the only one who felt something after the first Summer league game last year? Pretty much everyone knew at that point the kid was going to be good. And most thought the pickup was amazing during the draft. We just didn't think we had a shot of acquiring due to our intial draft position. You're only like 5 levels below pgabs delusion of grandeur.

Edit* ok that was kinda rude. I'd still be curious about a thread on your feelings and insights like Rub mentioned.

Tbh I think it was @Bodhi who was way ahead of everyone on the “Spida Mitchell is going to be a star” fan club. Called his meteoric rise for the Utah Jazz pre-draft.

You are right Derek Fisher was later proven to be a super honorable person who never lied to get out of other contracts and certainly is every bit the family man he claimed to be... oh wait...

Slavery? Good gawd, you going to try to play that card when even the minimum player earns >$800K. Players aren't forced to sign contracts; there's a free agency system in place. As far as I know, the Jazz BOD doesn't send players out to pick crops in the off-season or work as servants in their homes. And I'll bet a few fans in Cleveland might boo when LBJ returns. Did you read the letter Gilbert wrote when he left the 1st time? Contrast that with the Millers and Lindsey after Gordon left. They wished him well. Larry H released Derek from his contract; Lindsey traded Enes and Rodney when they asked out. I don't think that's slavery.

Ever been to a Yankees game? I sat near the bleachers once and the whole section was chanting about a player beating his wife. Warriors, Clippers, Lakers, Blazers...all have some idiotic fans.I think you need to spend 15 mins on Clutchfans. I suggest you just find a different team to cheer for. It sounds like you are anti-Mormon and that vitriol spreads into your attitude towards the Jazz. Why do you even like the team?
