I think he has potential to be a decent backup still, he looked a lot stronger in the Summer League, and that should help.

I still think Koufos can be a decent backup center because (despite his performance last season) he can shoot the ball and has a nice touch around the basket.
However, I'd rather have Fesenko than Koufos, and $1.3 mil this year and $2.2 mil next year is alot for a 3rd-string center when you're already over the tax.
