Draft Day grade - A+

Great handle, low TO's high Assists, great shooter, spot-up and off the bounce. He's the perfect fit for our team, as well as BPA at #9.

Best of all, he'll bring leadership to the team that's been starving for one for years...

He's also undersized, struggled against Wolters (on both sides of the ball) and not amazingly quick or athletic.

A+ draft. Absolutely. I really could not have dreamed a better draft for the Jazz. I had a feeling that we were going to get Trey Burke once I realized that most teams in the top 10 of the draft already were set at Point Guard. Once he slipped to Minnesota, I knew that we had a serious chance because there is no way that Timberwolves need a Point Guard. They already have Ricky Rubio. The trade for Rudy Gobert was our 2nd round pick (#46, Eric Green from VA Tech) and Cash. He is going to be a perfect defensive monster to bring off the bench behind Enes and Derrick. He and Jeremy Evans are going to be an explosion of athleticism and defense off the bench at the PF/C positions. I think that the Jazz will sign 4 free agents (2 reserve PG's behind Trey Burke, re-sign Randy Foye to back up Alec Burks at Shooting Guard and DeMarre Carroll to back up Gordon Hayward at Small Forward). We are going to be way under the salary cap, so if everything works out, we should have the cap space to re-sign all of our young players. My 2013-2014 Utah Jazz Depth Chart:

PG: Trey Burke, Free Agent PG, Free Agent PG
SG: Alec Burks, Randy Foye (re-sign), Gordon Hayward
SF: Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll, Marvin Williams (injured)
PF: Enes Kanter, Jeremy Evans, Marvin Williams
C: Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert, Enes Kanter

If Gobert decides to not come over right now, I would probably guess that the Jazz sign a back-up big.

Neto too now? Dennis needs to stop. I think I am going to have a heart-attack

This draft is better than what I would have considered our best case possible draft. So is has to be an A+

A+. Always believed that if the FO of any organization wants that player, you go get that player (within reason). Nice job by the crew tonight.

Anyone else think gobert is a poor mans Chris Andersen? Or at least a much less athletic javale McGee?
