Draft Day(s) Predictions

After all kinds of noise the Jazz have the most boring draft night ever… stay at 10 and take Holland or Salaun and maybe do a super minor move with 32 to get like 5 future seconds. No meaningful trades.

Jazz use the 10 pick to get off money so they can sign Paul George. They use the other two picks to move up so they can draft Kyshon George. Danny begins collecting Georges llike Thanos collecting infinity stones.

It's not necessarily what I would do but Jazz will draft Cody Williams even if they need to move up a few slots to do so.

They will either deal 29+32 to move up or trade one of those picks for a future pick. Maybe trade #32 to the Lakers to get the top 4 protection off the '27 pick.

I just expect a pretty vanilla draft even though we expecting some fancy **** with a lot of movement. I would be happy with either guy. I think I like Holland more than consensus.
Consensus amongst draft guys is they’re high on him. Consensus amongst mocks are lower.

Risacher drops out of the top 4 if he doesn’t go #1. If this is a bold predictions thread then you can remove the qualifier lol

Mavs draft Scheierman because Dennis Lindsay sees Baylor in his name and runs to the podium

I think he's a top 6-7 guy and I think most now have him back half of the lotto. I wouldn't be mad at it at all... I just think we might have a quiet but solid draft night that doesn't have the sizzle many want.

two ultra high upside dudes. that's an exciting draft. (edit) just saw you explained your reasoning.
yeah I think the draft looks similar to last year. Take the guy the falls to you... but no earth shattering move elsewhere.

My prediction... we are taking one of the wings... Holland/Salaun/Williams at 10. Someone we like falls to 29 and we sell off 32 for like 4-5 seconds or something.

This is exactly what happened last year and I hate to say, what I think will happen this year after failed trade attempts...

Hot take:

We pick a player with each pick we currently have in the draft. We do exactly what we did last year, get new borderline "talent", at exactly where our picks stand right now, and that's about it.

Extreme hot take:

We trade our latest pick for cash considerations and a future 2nd round pick. Otherwise we just use the picks we got exactly where they are.
