Draft Review of the Jazz (NBATV)

I hate to gripe, but I'm still struggling to figure out how the Jazz picked Hayward over Henry and George. Those guys are great athletes, steady shooters, and look like well-rounded NBA players. Hayward's intangibles better really be something.

I will grant that George is a very good athlete. But Henry was closer to an a average athlete who is strong. Henry is a steady shooter. But calling George a stead shooter is wrong. He shot 43% from the field against poor competition. Time will tell but it but among the wings there wasn't a clear cut difference.

Henry is not an average athlete. Most of the scouts and even the NBA TV crew said he is a good athlete. In his workout video, he was doing all these crazy dunks but that really doesn't tell athleticism. The thing about Henry is every1 said he is one dimensional. well, this whole time before the draft he has been working on driving and becoming a more complete player. i think either Henry or George will be a very good pro and Hayward will be a decent pro

Good stuff. Perfect pick Coach Frank said...If only he was as smart as most on this board.

What has Franks ever done to anoint him a draft expert? After saying that though, he might be right.

The best part of the draft was when the one guy (don't know who) said John Wall had a 3.5 gpa as a freshman.

Yeah, I almost believe that.

Very possible. Having gone to BYU I know from first-hand experience that they're not held to the same standards as other students. The more valuable an athlete is, the more leeway he is given.

You're not going to hear any argument's here. But in essence he really did not get or earn that 3.5 gpa.

John Calipari disagrees with you. He played his butt of for those grades.

Unless your name is Harvey Unga and you want to fool around with your hot athlete girlfriend.
