What's new

DuhBron will win NONE of the Championships.

If there's any team that can pull out of a 2-3 hole it's Dwade and Stern.

If there's any team that can blow a 3-2 lead, it's Dallas.

Too soon to diss LeDouche. Last 2 games at home. LA pulled it off down 2-3, in 2010 finals winning last 2 games at home. I hope the Heat lose, but on paper they still have the edge. Dallas still doesnt have an answer for Wade. I hope Wade stays hobbled.

This is the worst Heat team you will see for a while. They will just reload next year and be even better. They still might win it this year. Too early to say he will never win.

Mike Breen: "And that's Jason Kidd's second foul, so he'll have to join Tyson Chandler on the bench and Wade will go to the line for his 9th and 10th free throw attemps of the 1st quarter."
Mark Jackson: "And Dick Bavetta says to Kidd, not on my watch!"

How does this not happen?

The Mavs pull it off. The Heat had a 15+ free throw advantage and missed 13 free throws which made all the difference.

...looked like the Heat were getting alot of touch fouls, just like last time they won the thing against the Mav's. However....this time they missed a ton of them and it didn't work! Over all, though, I'd say the games were pretty evenly reffed.

LBJ is no MJ. I hope he never wins a champ and I hope cleveland is laughing as hard as they can at him. LEBRON CHOKES HARD.

I lost some respect for Pippen's IQ when he put Lebron on par with, or even ahead of MJ recently. Especially coming from a guy like him, who has seen MJ in close quarters.
Also he said something like "MJ is a great scorer, but LBJ is the greater player" or something along those lines. Could'nt be more wrong. what was he thinking? Was he on heavy booze or something? Scoring was just one of many things that MJ did as a champion. He was an all-NBA first team defender, playmaker and more importantly a great clutch player who would never disappear or fade down the stretch the way Lebron has done TWICE already in his career. It is laughable to compare him to MJ.

I read an article that said "Forget Jordan, Lebron is no Pippen" which sounds closer to truth as of now.

The league always likes to do what it can to get people interested in watching the games.

Telling everyone that right now we are seeing "the greatest player" ever is a common hook. The league might even get commentators, refs, players, bloggers, etc. to do what they can to build that hero myth.

This was really uncharted territory for LeBron. He had had bad games in the playoffs (including the bizarre Celtics game last year), but would usually show up the next game and dump a huge game on the opponent.

The last few game he just looked scared or something. Very strange.

Also the lovely comment afterwards in response to the "What do you think about all the people rooting against you" question:

"All the people that were rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. They have the same personal problems they had today. I'm going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want to do with me and my family and be happy with that. So they can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only myself, but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal. But they got to get back to the real world at some point."

I bet he wishes he had that one back.
