Donovan has some tremendous dunks but I kind of feel his are more based off of improvisation and being in the moment. At his height I'm a bit skeptical at his limitations as a dunk contest participant, but I'm not worried to find out, win or lose.

I don’t think Joe would have accepted the invite anyway. There are only 2 of the 8-9 players in that contest worthy of shooting next to Joe. The NBA does some messed up stuff sometimes.
He said he would have. Last year he said he wouldn't. He is vacationing 30 minutes away from LA.I don’t think Joe would have accepted the invite anyway.
NoMy bet would be Oladipo. Sometimes the moment is too big for these knuckleheads and he’s a vet who’s really developed and seems to have better size than Mitchell to pull off some special stuff.
A lot of Donovan's dunk are based on power and aggression.Donovan has some tremendous dunks but I kind of feel his are more based off of improvisation and being in the moment. I like smaller guys dunking, it looks better IMO. And Donovan really knows how to make a dunk look look mean. He really snaps the rim. I think his two foot jump is his biggest disadvantage because he doesn’t have much lift off of just one foot. He’ll do good, I’d like to see him and Dennis Smith in the finals personally.Donovan has some tremendous dunks but I kind of feel his are more based off of improvisation and being in the moment. I think he's actually going to the Saturday events. He's going to assist DM, isn't he? He would have been in the three point contest if the selection for these events was based on talent/stats. It's pretty obvious that it's not.He said he would have. Last year he said he wouldn't. He is vacationing 30 minutes away from LA.
Rising Bile. That is awesome! Is rep still a thing, because I would if I could. His early dunk in the Rising Bile Challenge was damn good show-boating for in-game. Of course it triggered a slew of one-up attempts by others (LOL Tatum) that fell mostly flat.
No
Being a vet doesnt help you in a dunk contest.
Weren't Oladipo's dunks super boring? My bet would be Oladipo. Sometimes the moment is too big for these knuckleheads and he’s a vet who’s really developed and seems to have better size than Mitchell to pull off some special stuff.
Pretty sure Royce is his teammate assist guyI think he's actually going to the Saturday events. He's going to assist DM, isn't he? He would have been in the three point contest if the selection for these events was based on talent/stats. It's pretty obvious that it's not.
Yeah, he was awfulWeren't Oladipo's dunks super boring?
I thought I heard Bolderjack/Harpring say something about Ingles assisting him but maybe I misunderstood. They were probably actually jokiing about Ingles social media dunking advice.Pretty sure Royce is his teammate assist guy
