What's new

Dwill's Blog

What makes you think he didn't?

He only signed a three year deal. Never said anything like "I want to retire here"

Durant and Rose make comments like that all the time.

If anything he hinted at media he would leave or look at his options.

Agree.

Who cares about the YEARS of good Deron brought to Utah? I prefer to focus on the one bad year, so I can really wallow in my hatred. Hate makes the world go 'round.

How about saying "woot!"? That way you can secretly cheer for him while it sounds more like boo. ;)

We'll see how they respond to their respective teams falling apart if/when that happens. Deron's too smart/honest to make statements about an uncertain future.

And KOC is smart enough to know that Dwill was going to leave.

I'm actually going to the game tonight with my sister. I thought about it and I'm going to cheer loudly for Memo and I'll clap and say "huzzah" for Deron. Afterall, he did "Net" us some good players in trade. :) lol

I actually like Deron. I can understand how frustrated he must've been. My family is super competitive, too. Although, my diplomatic side has taken over in my elder years. :)

Drafting garbage players like hayward did not help keep dwill happy. The direction of the jazz was awful and thy got 1 good pick last year in alex but kanter is the next jazz lottery bust

I've said it repeatedly, and it most CERTAINLY bears repeating again, but Deron should be given a standing ovation. He was just what this franchise needed post Stockton-Malone. He took the reins as soon as Sloan let him and never looked back. Last year there was some obvious turmoil, but us peons have absolutely no idea what really happened.

I also thought that blog was pretty cool. I'm sure other athletes do it, although I've never actively looked, but Deron clearly dedicated some time to writing that for his fans. If I was in the NBA with D-Will's contract I'd be a lot more into things NOT dealing with the idiotic masses. Regardless, it sounds like he loved being on the Jazz as much as we loved watching him.

If anyone boos tonight I'll be humiliated for the fan base.

Go Jazz!!!

Very difficult situation, this. Very difficult. Terrible...truly terrible, to be put in this situation as a fan. I follow both sides.

EDIT:

Very nice contribution by Deron, assuming he really wrote it. Also, we are assuming he really feels that way and is not trying to engage in damage-control. Either way, it'll be awesome seeing the dude back in the DC!

To late.

In all seriousness though why get all worked up? You know it is going to happen. I guarantee he will get boos.

Jazz fans boo and they wonder why the national media thinks UTah is filled with a bunch of angry morons. Besides the fact that it doesn't show potential free agents that Jazz fans have any class. What is with all the vindictiveness? Life goes on. Time to move forward and show appreciation for all the good things the former players did for the franchise.
