Idk. Pretty big difference between a 5 clogging the paint and going five out for Mudiay to destroy the midrange and JC to walk on water to the rim.

In any scenario, Bradley is not my 5.Idk. Pretty big difference between a 5 clogging the paint and going five out for Mudiay to destroy the midrange and JC to walk on water to the rim.
He’s in the rotation for the first time ever still young as hell too. He could end up being a nice backup in a year or two. Other than the fact he’s been in the league 2 in a half years he’s basically a Simmons type rookie. For a rookie drafted late first he’s doing quite well.In any scenario, Bradley is not my 5.
This is exactly what happened again Monday. The Clarkson\Mudiay combo built a big enough lead that when the starters came back in and struggled there was enough cushion to survive.During the streak, after the trade for Clarkson, the Jazz finally found their identity. It was because of the hard charging pace of these two. Everything else fell into place. Hopefully Quin will find a regular spot in the rotation for Mudiay.
I missed the Mudiay minutes in the game but it doesn't surprise me. They are a great one two punch of the bench pace and drive to the basket. Mudiay does it with more physicality, while Clarkson has more moves, but they run equally downhill.

What I’m interested in at the 5 doesn’t include any of that. I don’t care if two years from now he “could be a nice backup.” I care about winning games. Now. This is our window. We already went down this road with 6 years of Exum and continued to insist that we needed to persist because “he could be a rotational piece.” We need to wait two years for TB to be a rotational piece? If we still had Exum, we’d be advocating for more waiting so that he could be a rotational piece, completely oblivious to the fact that this summer, through no cost or waiting, we signed a rotational piece, who was almost out of the league, for the minimum and who completely replaced him. He’s in the rotation for the first time ever still young as hell too. I think he was going to be a nice player, but injuries derailed his growth. Exum and TB aren’t in the same boat. We can have the best of both worlds. When things are going well, Bradley can backup Gobert. If not, or we need a change of pace to get the offense going play Morgan or whoever we get in the future to backup Rudy. So, no, any scenario of who I’d play at the 5 doesn’t include TB.
