ED Davis to the KNICKS

In two years DL will give away more picks so he can offload Clarkson’s overpriced contract. Just watch
and Jazzfanz will praise him for only giving away xxxx.

I’d be good with Favs back. He might start some nights against big teams and could hold down the 5 when need more bench scoring than the rook will likely provide.

IF we got another big - I'd want it to be someone who can hit from outside, to possibly give teams a different look at times. Meyers Leonard should be gettable for the minimum.

They'd be like "they are only 2nd round picks which we can always just buy". Except last year we tried our hardest to get two picks in the 50s in what was regarded as a very weak draft. And all the second rounders that we have away? They could be in the 40s or even 30s. Teams pay a price to get those, and DL just handed them out like candies for absolute no reason

Indeed. And we have all wanted to move Davis and now it is done. The real issue is now what we do with the space we have created.

Does the CBA still say that you get a 50% discount if you sign a player who shares a surname with one you already have? That's how we got Jeff Malone.

We just bought #39 this year to get Hughes. It doesn't seem that difficult.

We just made Jarrell Brantely a restricted free agent. Well - deserved. I hope from a team perspective we give him a cheap 1 million a year contract.
If no one signs him he is coming back on a 2-way (if he wants). I dont think the Jazz are willing to roster him, but we will see.

I think his cap number is less than the minimum vet contract so I think they will roster him. Just cleared two roster spots. Helps them get just a little further away from the tax.

I was super excited when I found out Jeff Green, Ed Davis, and a lot lesser Mike Conley (I wanted D. Lo then Kemba) came to the Jazz. 2 are gone and I'm sure the last has been talked about in trades.
