El Paso Shooting

Screw it, let's say shootings and murders. Where do majority happen and by what sort of gun(assault rifles/pistols)?
I would guess wherever there are the most bad guys with guns.

The real answer to the question of where is simply America. Cause it's the place with the most guns.
I would guess the answer to what sort of gun would be whatever gun is the most common so probably handgun

I have read that 80+% of gun violence happens in inner cities and only around 5% of total gun violence is by legal owners. I've looked for actual numbers but can't find anything concrete. Does anybody have any actual evidence to prove or disapprove this?

I know someone brought it up with that Crowder dude but I would like to know the actual statistics if available.

Damn. If only the entire United States was just rural country. Then, people would just stop killing each other with guns. Ban urban inner cities.

Most likely not. We haven't had a violent shooting in years.

As far as more people? Yeah probably. Gun culture here is much different than say downtown Chicago.

Not sure if you're aware but, Chicago is also a part of the United States and a large amount of guns exist there as well.

I don't know where you live, but it's implied that you don't live in the inner city. This probably means that you know the people who are likely to be around you at 3am. Or, you don't have anybody around you at 3am. I live in a place like that too. This is important. If you could walk around any inner-city in this country where you are surrounded by strangers, some of whom, you know are packing and you just don't know who, and still feel as safe, over the long run, as you do in your hometown, you'd have an argument here. Oh yeah! you have a gun to defend yourself with right? Good luck with that bro. MAD only works as a reliable deterrent on the international scale. On the individual scale, one or both just get shot.

Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, and Daejeon are all huge urban cities with population density higher than a city like Chicago. I can tell you that people in those cities feel safe. Just as safe as you do in your place despite the crazy amount of strangers around them. You tell me what the difference is.

Why do cops need guns here? There are a lot of countries where the cops don't carry firearms. Tell me why they don't need them.

How many cop death incidents would we have on our hands if they also didn't have to carry firearms.

Just to be clear, my argument here isn't that we should immediately try to ban all guns. That's clearly unrealistic. I'm only saying that if it were possible, from a theoretic standpoint, to make all guns disappear in this country, it would be a good thing.

So I should lose my AR15 because people in inner cities are killing each other at an alarming rate with pistols?

Doesn't make sense to me.

My argument is that guns are not the ones pulling the trigger. Pretty much every single person I know owns a gun. If it was truly a gun problem why are we not shooting each other. It's a systematic problem. My point is also that a good chunk of shootings are from illegally owned firearms. How does taking away the rights of law abiding citizens help solve illegal firearm shootings? It doesn't.

As far as taking guns completely away, all you have to do is look at human kind since creation. We have been killing each other since day one over petty ********. Hell not too long ago the twin towers burned, and before that we nuked an entire city. Its absolutely naive to think humans have evolved enough to not cause something catastrophic.

Does that mean I'm paranoid? No. But my guns sitting in a locked up safe are hurting nobody. Hell I see people in this very forum call Trump Hitler. Not on my watch if that's true...

My thoughts

You brandish a gun during a crime 20 years, no parole.

You illegally own a firearm 20 years no parole.

You illegally shoot someone 50 years.

Murder- life

Mass shootings- no matter what is domestic terrorism and is death.

Did someone say you should lose your AR15? You shadowboxing again?

How many shooting do think there would be if there was no such thing as a gun?

Oh like you not answering my question about inner city violence and turning the conversation about me? A law abiding citizens? Like its my fault people are shooting one another.

Nice maneuver but to answer your question because it's my right too and it's one of the best guns out there as far as performance.

Lol have you not paid attention to the elections? Warren, Sanders, Biden, Harris, and most others have just recently have called for a ban.
What do you think that means to you though?
Are you expecting one of those people to come to your house soon and take your precious AR15?

Your guns are safe. You don't need to worry. The bogeyman isn't under your bed. I promise.

Nice manuever.
What question didn't I answer? Did I say it's your fault people are shooting each other? You love to play the victim it seems when you say stuff like that.
Maybe I don't know the answer to your question every time as well.

You should know the answer to the question Archie asked you though. Let's see if you answer it.

Re-read my edited post.

Your Boogeyman stuff is stale man. With all due respect it's stupid
Again, you didn't answer the question.
Do you think your AR15 is going to be taken away soon? If yes, then why do you think that? If no, then you are worrying over nothing like a child worrying about a bogeyman under the bed.

You didn't answer the question.
The question was why do you NEED an AR15?
You have an answer for why you want one, not need one.

It's really simple. Your answer should be I don't need an AR15, I just wanted one so I bought one.
I don't know why that answer is so hard for you to come up with lol.

Read the 2nd Amendment. It's there for a reason. It's not a difficult concept bro.
