What's your opinion on this thriller and Nazi caller?
It's in poor taste, but it's worth noting the protagonist of this story is a "deplorable" who turns the tables against the "globalist elites," who are hunting her and others for sport.

In other words, the "liberal elites" are cast as the villains in this story. And it's you know, a satire. So I wouldn't take it too seriously.

You listening to Rush’s rants against this today too? Cool.

Why would I have a problem with this? Sounds like a stupid movie in extremely poor taste. I don’t really watch horror movies anyway.

Do other countries have horror movies or does just our country?

Oof

Oof!!!

Have a drink for every time you cringe:

My God he is an idiot.
Repeats himself over and over, talks about how big his crowds are at his events, insults somebody, acts confused about basic things.

Typical trump

Lol you watch Rush?

I just feel that if the roles were reversed and this was about killing illegals or Muslims this would be viewed as a hate movie. Glorifying the killing of people for who they voted for is nothing more than fueling a fire.

ESPN must watch Rush too

ESPN pulled at least one TV commercial for "The Hunt" on Saturday, The Hollywood Reporter wrote, adding that the network would not air any more commercials for the movie, citing a source.

It's funny to see conservatives get their panties in a bunch over a movie in which a conservative gets revenge against a bunch of globalist elites.

I mean honestly guys, if the roles were reversed you'd be even more upset.

I listen to him for few minutes everyday. Same with Hannity. I’m not afraid to listen to what the other side is babbling about. I get my information from various sources. NPR, Bulwark, BBC, Vox, Pod Save.

You’re probably right. No movie has ever been made stereotyping central/South Americans or depicting the killing Muslims. So truly, Hollywood is super hypocritical. Glad you exposed them.

Thanks and I am.

So I’m just trying to understand, if movies influence people to do bad things do other countries not have movies?

Is the United States the only industrialized country with video games, movies, and mentally ill people? Interesting.

If Johnathan Swift wrote A Modest Proposal today, conservative America would be up in arms over the glorification of cannibalistic infanticide.

Why did they pull their trailers? That was their decision. ESPN is pretty liberal and they won't play the trailers either.

It's common sense why.

It’s done it pretty terrible taste and horribly timed. I’m not into horror movies. This one in particular sounds pretty terrible. I don’t think it accomplished anything good.

But let’s not go overboard here.

Do you think violent movies have a greater impact in motivating these shooters than easy access to guns? Or the nonstop xenophobic vitriol they consume from Fox News and the president?

It's pretty straightforward. Studios don't want to upset people with imagery that evokes traumatic recent events.

Everyone is freaking out about this movie without taking a single second to look up what it's actually about, and what its political message actually is. Hint: it's not that shooting your political adversaries is good.

Considering the movie is satirizing our political culture fraught with divisiveness and tribalism, I'm not sure it's actually so stupid after all.

Coming on the heels of the El Paso shooting is pretty **** timing, but in terms of our political climate right now it's pretty appropriate.
