Well, that's sick. I won't soon forget that brief manifesto for what it reveals. I just watched the trailer for Joker, then came here and read that, not sure which is crazier....
you truly must be something like an "idiot", meaning devoid of actual congnitive function, to haul up the idea that I gave some damn "Manifesto". Nobody but commies and a few ideological political hacks use the word "manifesto", ever.
And what does it reveal. Orange Man Bad? You've been reading, re-posting..... cut and paste every day.... whatever you can find about Trump being "Hitler" or whoever the hell has ever used power in a way that's come to be discredited. You love the psychoanalysis crap, and imagine you have the mystic powers of perception to paste labels on others and make them stick. It's a power thing. The old very human simplistic belief that if you can name something, you can cast a spell on on it, or make it real somehow. In all human language, the need to label and define just drives the whole story. We make up stuff, and believe we know it all.
So, really, do you need to fix this country? It looks to me like everything you dream of is already the reality in other places. Lots of dreamy comments about how other countries do stuff better.
If you want gun control, they have it in China. Ron Mexico went there. Hope he's happy. Apparently, what he does is train athletes. Good pay there, I bet. And no guns.
well, except for the guvmint guns.
I look over this thread, about El Paso. It took me maybe ten minutes to understand that a real evil or real crazy human being, who wanted to make a very attention-grabbing political statement, drove across Texas to shoot up Beto's town. Why? Well, it's a border town, and that was part of his thinking. But there's mexican districts in Dallas, too. WalMarts there with 80% latino shoppers. But it was Beto's town, a candidate who would really focus on what he planned, if he just made up a racist "manifesto".
just an observation. conservatives don't write manifestos. commies do.
I don't. I can't verify my theory, but I'm saying that the crazy was playing to the commies. Maybe triggered by the liberal press, maybe triggered by Beto. But he was not thinking like anyone I would call a conservative.
If you write a manifesto and plan to draw attention to it in the media, it means you think the media is relevant somehow, you are actually taking the position that public opinion is the necessary tool for social change. Conservatives don't go around scheming about social change. Maybe they turn into missionaries and travel around doing ministries where they try to help people come to Jesus, but fundamentally they don't seek political change by political means. They tend to imagine that saving souls will do all that's needed for God's plan.
Well, unless you're the kind of "conservative" who attends the Council on Foreign Relations meetings. you know, "The Rockefeller Conservatives", who never missed a chance to make use of any crisis, and invented plenty of crises to boot.
