If we comping him to Jazz players, I think CJ Miles is closer.
Hood is a really unique player, hard to comp anyone to him.
He looks CJ's size. He has CJ's type of smooth athleticism
Really? I think he's a pretty natural fit. Quin wants dudes who will let it rip. I think he is offensive ready for sure. He could be the 10th man right now. The defense might be different.I think Hughes looks good but as someone put it in the game thread “Jordan Clarkson thinks Hughes shoots too much”. I love the confidence but like Brantley... he will have to adjust from his G league role to a regular role. If he can do it as a role player he might be good enough to be more of a primary/secondary scorer. The initial returns are pretty exciting.
Miles also would have been a much better player in his younger years if he was told to shoot more 3's.The problem is it took CJ miles 4 years to be a real prospect. Hopefully we don't have wait on Hughes for that.
Early evidence definitely suggests that defense will be a problem this year. It’s too bad he missed all the different development opportunities between draft prep, OTAs, summer league, etc etc.Really? I think he's a pretty natural fit. Quin wants dudes who will let it rip. To be fair he came into the league at 18. Hughes is 22.Miles also would have been a much better player in his younger years if he was told to shoot more 3's.
Maybe... its the super long threes that kinda seem overly aggressive. I guess it wouldn't be hard for him to tone it down like 15% when he's in with the regulars. Brantley's game either needs to cut 35% of the BS and improve the shooting or the BS has to get like 50% better then he becomes amazing.Really? I think he's a pretty natural fit. He does like to fill the hole in the bucket... #dadjokes*Eliza
You're forgetting that he came out straight from high school. He'd only be in his 4-5th year of neurosurgery residency by now had he stayed. The problem is it took CJ miles 4 years to be a real prospect. Hopefully we don't have wait on Hughes for that.

I will change my previous statement. The defense needs to improve a lot from Hughes and he needs to tone it down just a hair. Having him as a third option when the ball is swinging around as a willing shooter (think Jae Crowder) but he also has a great first step and seems to get to the hoop when he wants to.
He's interesting.
I am not a native speaker so Boler always makes me question my English pronounciation skills.I will co-sign if Boler promises to get his name right once.
Half the time he has the wrong guy anyway so it doesn't matter too much. Hughes is Ellijah and he keeps saying Eliza.I am not a native speaker so Boler always makes me question my English pronounciation skills.
