If DL is encouraging the league to investigate it, he must be feeling pretty confident they won't find anything.
This is the power of cancel culture, and the biggest problem with it. In the end it doesn't matter what the truth is, the allegation is enough to ruin reputations.Damage is already done regardless though. Read the comments.
Yeah... people on both sides were super guilty of rushing to conclusions in this very thread. This is the power of cancel culture, and the biggest problem with it. In the end it doesn't matter what the truth is, the allegation is enough to ruin reputations.
They'll obviously find nothing, and the Jazz already know this.Notes? Why on earth are verbatim notes being taken instead of just recording it? Sounds very fishy.

It is like this. Imagine you move into a new neighborhood. You like the neighborhood, everyone seems nice. You are chatting with your new next-door neighbor and asking him about the other families. He gives you the run-down, everything sounds great, you are happy. Then he says "oh, and Mr. Jones on the corner there, he is the nicest guy, used to hold a barbecue every year. Until those kids said that stuff about him. I mean, don't get me wrong, there was an investigation and everything, they proved it was all made up, and the kids even apologized. He never touched those kids, the cops proved it, so you don't have anything to worry about."
You leave the conversation and go inside. Will you ever be comfortable with your kids in that neighborhood now? What do you instantly think about Mr. Jones, regardless of how open and forgiving you might be? Yeah you likely think of him now as the child molester. It doesn't matter what the truth is, the allegation, the comments alone, are enough to damage his reputation in your eyes before you even meet the guy.
That is the issue I have with cancel culture and you see it in those comments.
I could see it being a distraction and hurting the players on the team mentally which could make them not play as well.
Jesus man, what a weird thing to say.....
Ban cy
We would be killing this team with ad
Nobody could’ve helped us if jazz are shooting like this
The Jazz fans must be so stoked- they seem pretty dumb so probably don't realize were missing two starters- These ding dongs think they're winning the title tonight.
****ING FORFEIT
I’m gonna eat my own *** if we come back and win this. I have no idea how, but I’ll do it.
Utah are just twisted right now and they are at peak performance but good thing it’s February and not June.
CARUSOOOOOOOO SUCKS SOOOOOOO MUCH
Damn, this Utah team ain't no joke. Proud of our boi Jordan Clarkson though! Great to see him doing well
Oh one is definitely lying and it's Elijah.
Gonna jump in and say he probably thinks something as ludicrous but I'll wait for it to come out if it hasn't already.Wait you just said a 12 year old deciding to become female.
Then you said the government is the decider. Which is it? The 12 year old or the government?
How exactly are you thinking the government will be the decider? Do you think some evil leftist commie socialist Dem is going to kidnap children and force sex changes upon them?

That's just paranoia. Unless I committed some sort of ugly, overt act, most people pretty much everyone would rather forgive than punish, usually even the injured person. You are making the assumption that you would continue to HAVE students. You err in thinking that the capacity for forgiveness exists in this type of situation when it probably doesn't.
So, as a ballpark figure, how many people would Millsap need to contact privately before he publicly discussed what he recalls happening to him, in order for you to not think him a dick? 5? 20? 200?It may be that Elijah did not intend to see Lindsey fired, but that was the reality of the situation. By doing what he did in the way he did it, he put many of his old teammates is a bad situation. They will either be forced to condemn a man entirely on his say-so, or indicate publicly that Elijah may be stretching the truth. To ambush them with this was kind of a dick move on his part.

One. If the bad behavior merits a firing then atleast tell HR.That's just paranoia. Unless I committed some sort of ugly, overt act, most people pretty much everyone would rather forgive than punish, usually even the injured person.
