Embiid has a new foot injury

So would the Cavs take an offer of Favors and #5 for #1 now? We take Wiggins. I saw a tweet that now they want Exum in for a workout... That seems like a wierd fit with Kyrie. If they take Exum #1 can we just give them the first pick every year and watch them mess it up? Its kind of fun.

Agree with everyone saying you risk it at #5. I still think is basement is #3.

I believe this is accurate as well. In the unlikely scenario he does get past the sixers I don't see Orlando passing.

I'm in agreement. Unfortunately, this probably does push Embiid down to #5 and means both Exum AND Vonleh will go top-4.

Good.

That way we won't be tempted to draft a soft 7 foot SG or an international player who had his *** handed to him by a guy who couldn't ever get off the bench in Atlanta.

Thank heaven that Embiid's injury might have saved us from ourselves.

Also hearing that Arn Tellem wanted Embiid to go first... but if that can't happen, he's going to push hard to steer him to Boston or LA.

I hate the business side of the nba, don't know if the dude is really hurt or if the whole thing is a shell game to get Embiid to the Lakers.

I can't wait for the draft and free agency. This year is so interesting. I can see all sorts of crazy things happening.

For some reason I just don't view agents as being these all powerful beings. Not happening, sucka Tellem.

If Cavs now take Jabari #1, which is who MIL supposedly wanted, then perhaps this motivates MIL to trade down and we can move up for Wiggins?

Big risk with all these injuries. I say go for it but I will be on pins and needles.

If we pass on him adn he blows up we will regret it. If we take him and he busts due to injury we will be kicking ourselves for years.

Risky risky and I hate to swing on that but that's what last season was for. Can't loose our nerve now.

One of the draftexpress dudes was on Gunther in the Afternoon yesterday.

He said that Exum was destroyed by Schroeder.
He was shut down by smart.

But yep, let's keep believing that Exum is the next black mamba.

We should be asking how did he injure his foot, and what exactly the injury is before dooming him to the teens.

If Embiid is available, you take him at #5 and you don't think twice about it. Easily worth the risk.

The dude has the potential to be the best player from this draft, and I actually want to win a championship at some point…so yeah, I'd take him. If he flops, he flops…but if he doesn't, then we're golden.

If it's broken I think he'll be there when we pick. Not a great fit in PHI and ORL. If you're PHI you did this last year and put your fans through a miserable season... I'd think you'd want something to point to and say we did it so we could get this guy. Also, remember they took a big risk on Bynum that turned out to be a disaster.

From the rumors I've seen the top 3 teams all seem to like Exum. I think the new top 3 is Parker, Wiggins, and Exum. Not sure what Orlando will do.

All I know is that if I was the GM I'd be placing calls to the Cavs and Bucks all day.

This. Might be our only chance to get a franchise changer. If not next year has some good bigs too.

Other then Jonathan Draftexpress writers are nothing more then fans that Jonathan gets press credentials for. I should know, I used to be one of them.

Where exactly did Smart and Schroeder run Exum out of the gym?
