The only problem I have with this is Kanter is our best offensive rebounder. So you take him away from the basket. However based upon the current crop of 3pt "shooters" the Jazz have, there is no way Kanter could be worse.

but if he can hit it well enough for the defence to respect him out to the three point line, then chances are he will be dragging one of the oppositions better rebounders with him.

incidentally..

if you happen to have the #1 offensive rebounder in the GAME.. then you need to have Burks in the game with him. Why? Because Burks breaks down the D and gets closer in shots.. that Kanter can grab the miss and finish.

We need to have both shooters and slashers on the floor (obvi, duh) so there is both spacing/ability to drive and high percentage shots that are complimented by elite offensive rebounding and putbacks... oh wait, the tank.

I believe the day will come when Kanter will shoot the triple. I don't believe that there will be a significant amount this season, probably less than 5 total. But i recall during the work stoppage when that pickup exhibition game was played at SLCC, watching Kanter and Stephen Curry ( while waiting for the refs to arrive) stand at the three point line and shoot threes while keeping loose. They shot and talked for about 20-25 minutes and Kanter was just about holding his own when it came to accuracy. Of course nobody was guarding them, but the point is he has the ability to shoot from that distance and well may develop the ability to shoot very well from the three point line under pressure. But it will take some time. Just like it's gonna take time for our Rudy Gobert to become a positive force for Jazz. But he will!!!

That depends. If you consider Corbin to be Satan... then yes.

Though I don't consider Corbin to be Satan. Mainly because I can't imagine Corbin coaxing Adam or Eve to eat an apple.

Yes man our lack of three point shooting is killing us. I think Kanter could shoot at least 33%.
