What's up with your sig Sexual Favors? You want Neto or Schroeder?
The reason we aren't bringing Neto overor another rookie , now is because we have a rookie pg already. Its not a good idea to go with two. Especially in this case. We spent big on Burke and we should have every intention to give it a chance to work. Having another rookie playing back up and threatening to take Burke's job could prove to have adverse effects. Its unhealthy competition imo.

A lot of people feel that way. I think Burke will be fine. I really do. I just really, really, really like Schroeder, and think that ATL would be willing to split with him at some point since they have a great PG in Teague. I like Neto as well, but I do see him as backup quality (at least for now).
Dennis Lindsey himself said there are merits to both theories (multiple rookie PG's vs. having just one), and said they think they're doing it the right way, but may be wrong (in an interview w/ 1280 like a month back). Ricky Rubio blossomed in an environment of multiple rookie PG's, and save it for his lack of a jump shot: he's elite.
To be honest, I was just about to delete the sig. I plan on lending Burke my full support throughout the season, and honestly hope he does well. He's a Jazz man now, so I'll start homering for him.

He gets one year of me biting my tongue. I swear. Unless of course ATL wants him and is offering Schroeder at the trade deadline (oh, sweet dreams).
I'm sure he'll struggle, as all good first year PG's do, but I doubt he'll post those inflated Earl Watson numbers.
