Why are you so sure they can? My bet is Favors is now the odd center out and will be shopped with Burks and the two picks this summer for a legitimate superstar. Kanter and Millsap can hold the fort down, or bring in another underpaid big to fill Sap's spot.

Then in the final 4, Ben went to meet Kacie's parents on the hometown date. You mean that there are a good many posters here who really actually care about pos or neg repping let alone care enough to be bullied by it? Wow!
 
I guess with latest performance of Kanter, Jazz management would (finally) make a move for the next year. I know that most of Jazz fans would prefer Kanter as a third big in the second unit with first unit as one of Jefferson/Millsap and Favors. In this case I guess Kanter would get 20 mins per game in center with Evans/Ma Williams in place of Favors in the second unit. Still, I would personally doubt on the first unit as neither Jefferson and Favors nor Millsap and Favors felt like a first team during the last couple of games.

An alternative would be to free Jefferson, Millsap and Favors and let Kanter with Ma. Williams play in the first unit. I know that Ma. Williams is not liked in Jazz fanbase but I realized that he is playing very good with Kanter and Burks. This would also satisfy Ty Corbin as he apparently prefers veteran players, Ma. Williams would be his guy in this case. Evans would backup Ma. Williams in the second unit.

Although Favors is a fan favorite and there is a significant preference on Kanter and Favors, I think Kanter/Ma.Williams would be an option for the first unit.

There are a few scenarios I guess, the first keeping one of Jefferson and Millsap and forming a duo with either Jefferson/Favors and Millsap/Favors. In this case, Kanter would be the third big with support from Evans or Ma. Williams. Personally, I would still have my doubts as neither Jefferson/Favors nor Millsap/Favors felt like a first unit in the games against Knicks or Cavaliers.

Although there is a huge demand on Favors/Kanter playing in the first unit, I guess the management would also consider freeing Jefferson, Millsap and Favors and play with Kanter and Ma. Williams in the first unit. I know that Jazz fans dislike Ma. Williams but he has played very good with Kanter and Burks. In this case, Evans would provide the backup to Ma. Williams. I guess Ty Corbin would also be satisfied since he appearantly prefers veteran players, Ma. Williams would be his guy. The fans who are expecting Kanter/Favors first unit would be disappointed in this case.

The last scenario is to trade Kanter with possibly Ma. Williams and get a good pg. to play with the bigs Jefferson, Millsap and Favors. I am not feeling like Jazz would play any better with this kind of a scenario based on what I watched this year.

Hopefully, Jazz management would make rational decisions for the next year as I think that this year is a waste.

Cool idea re Favors trade - who do you have in mind??
 
LEtting the Vets go and letting the young guys play would be good becasue they would get more playing time and also because i think it would result in a nice draft pick come 2014 which is going to be stacked with like 6to7 potential superstars
