A few things:

1 - Look how big of a Kanter hater I was (that's sarcasm, kids)
2 - Apples to apples time: Who on the Bobcats looks good? Kemba Walker at times? MKG isn't dominating either. Is it possible that a team is just that toxic? I'm not keen on excuse-making, but if there's a team that poisonous, it's the Bobcats.
3 - Anyone being honest knew Biyombo would be raw and if he ever became a good offensive player, it would take a LOOOOOONG time.
4 - People were writing Koufos' epitaph during the pre-season of his second year and I said he was too big, with too much innate ability, had too good of a head on his shoulders, and was too young to fail, even if he would never be a world-beater.

I would relish it if the Jazz got Biyombo today. Ben Wallace didn't happen overnight either.

It's hard for me to believe that all the lottery picks Charlotte has gotten over the years have really been so bad and hasn't produced a playoff appearance. Either the front office is just really bad at drafting or there's a mentality in Charlotte that since they're there, they don't have to try because they wont win anyway. I think being in Charlotte is poison for players coming into the league and it makes it extremely hard for them to grow & develop and when they go to a new team, most of the time, lottery picks end up backups or third string players for the rest of their careers orrr in some sad cases, are out of the league.

Enes was already known for his 20/20 games if Utah skipped him and let the Cavs have him. But he would not become the player he is right now, a player that u dunno how good he can become.

A combination of Irving and Kanter in Cleveland would have been sick. Add a probable return of Lebron.

Cavaliers starting five

Varejao
Kanter
Lebron
Waiters
Irving

That would have been a hell of a team!

I really hope the Jazz draft Enes Kanter. I see him as a 23/22 guy, provided he gets minutes.
:)
Bull!
I would not draft him in the lottery.
Trade down to 20-29th and then I will consider!
He is a BUST and is way too slow to play in the NBA
That Lithuanian kid is gonna be special tho and of course Jimmer, too.

edit: needless to say, posrepped "The Norm".

Yep. Anyone remember when MKG said he would be crying himself to sleep at night because he's never played on a losing team.
That kid is tough as nails and for him to make that statement is very telling about the perception of the Bobcats and the culture.

PKM, do you ever try to sell the jazz to your Kentucky guys?

Cavs Im sure still think Tristan Thompson is better.

What's the sell?

Hey come to Utah, you'll ride the bench for 3 years even if you deserve to play. And you won't have any chance at rookie of the year. But other than that, great times.

Except at the PG position. Remember, Tinsley was our 3rd PG for a whole year, look where he is now.
