^^ I agree, but using that logic wouldn't you err to the side of taking Kanter? Meaning, there's obvious debate as to who the bpa is .. if you're unsure, go big, right?
(that's what I'd do, but I'd also be happy with any of Knight, Williams, or Kanter)
Perhaps there's some argument.
However, just a month or so ago Knight wasn't considered even a top 5 pick. I cannot help but believe that perhaps he's just the flavor of the week right now. Meanwhile, Kanter has been talked about as the best big in this draft for as long as I can remember.
I think they both need to be evaluated seriously. Knight's shot selection, less than stellar athleticism, and horrible turnovers worry me.
While I have worries about Kanter's athleticism and durability, and understand that we really need a solid player from #3 (and not Darko), I think Kanter's size and offensive ability are things we need to strongly consider.
