What's new

Enes Kanter still unsigned

You can't simultaneously bitch about "misusing Enes Kanter: and letting Paul Millsap go "for nothing." The Jazz let Millsap and Al go in order to free up a starting space for Kanter. From that point forward, it was Kanter who screwed things up for himself by not playing a lick of defense. I am also highly amused that people think that giving someone like Kanter a max contract is going to make him recommit to defense. Other than Hayward, I cant think of a single dude who got maxed undeservedly that later came on to EARN that money. Why would you improve if you know that mediocre was good enough? It isn't like Kanter has some sort of legacy of greatness he wants to build. His dream was a max contract. He got that. Watch what happens now.

From the Kanter interview on the Turkish TV:

"As a child, from the moment I started playing, my only goal what never changed was to make it to the NBA, and play for the Lakers. They were the strongest back then."

Lakers? I knew he was a fan.

By the way it looks like he has become really grown up in attitude and has said nothing negative about the Jazz in a 1 hour show.

Interviewer: Is there a team you want to get traded for?

(The interview took place before the max offer)

Kanter: I would like to go to the Eastern Conference. I know that there are fans sacrificing their sleep to watch my games, so that would save them a few hours.

How nice for Him say nothing mean to jazz!!! He is generation talent but he runs me away with his rude only 4 months ago. Nothing can change like this.
