Will not be possible this year as a little spank in the *** but he will probably come in the following years depending on the weather of the two sides.

Turkish National Team General Manager Harun Erdenay announced that Enes Kanter won’t get a national team call up for Eurobasket 2013 as he rejected the latest invite to play for the Eurobasket qualification games.

Harun Erdenay stated that Enes Kanter has a chance to be in the national team for the following years but it won’t be this year due to his attitude last summer. Erdenay added that all players(he gave hedo turkoglu as an example) make sacrifice for the national team and Kanter needs to think about his attitude last summer.

lol their loss. Last time I watched Turkey play, they'd be better off being coached by Corbin.

I actually can't tell his thoughts right now. I'm sure he is upset to be in the shoes of a guilty guy in the eyes of home fans. And I strongly suspect that the reason he first said "I'm gonna come!" and then said "Oh wait false alarm." (he actually didn't say anything. Didn't answer his phone. Then his agent answered and said he is not coming. Leave us alone.) is his agent who obviously does not have too much of national values and stuff since he changed his name to Max. Lol people laugh at **** like that in Enes' country. I dunno maybe he likes his agent's attitude and wants to feel like an American or smth. Either way, I hope he plays for the NT soon.

Thanks, Turkey guy, for depleting what momentum we had left. Enes is going to curl up in a ball and hide.
 
I wonder, when we're gonna see Kanter actually play some basketball.

Corbin doesn't play him 2nd year in a row, Erdenay wont play him this year, in Kentucky he didn't play.

Dude is a future AllStar, donchya know?
 
Turkey's organization members are dumb.

Kanter is going to be the most dominant european Center in near future.

They don't have the luxury to not invite him.They have two solid Bigs in Omer Asik and Ersan Ilyasova but Kanter is the guy that should get 25-30 minutes off the bench since he is the only post scorer they have.

Kanter did a good job staying in the States and working on his body and game.

The turkish national team can kiss his ***. He was overweight and in bad shape over the summer and not ready to have a big impact. He did what was the best for him. Maybe with a little bit of a bad timing to refuse to play for the national team.

Some of my friends here that are from Turkey label him as a traitor. The real traitors are people that don't do everything to convince Kanter to play for them because he is a big luxury.

The national team needs Kanter. Kanter does not need them.
 
Enes should have played last year. He had plenty of time before and after NT play to condition.

Did u know a word like allegiance? How u think Kanter selected as a 3rd pick? Does he have any team career before Jazz? Turkey raised him, gave opportunity to play basketball and he had a chance to show his skills to get selected for the drafts. Also, why he declared " Playing for the national team is an honour for me in Lithuania"? The answer is to show USA and Jazz organization his health situation. So what happened immediately and he refused to play for the NT without giving an excuse or even not answering for the phone calls? It was big mistake and all NT has gotta have principles over players so Kanter made a mistake and behaved like spoiled child. I hope he gets matured and apologize for his idiotic attitude.

That isn't how the world works. The Turkish NT needs Kanter more than he needs them. So they are the ones to have apologize. If Kanter never plays for Turkey, then is hurt the most?
