Eric Bledsoe for CJ?

The Clippers desperately need help on the wings with size and range. They have two very good point guards in Mo Williams and Chris Paul. Could we pry Eric Bledsoe away for CJ and our 2nd round pick?

Bledsoe could fill a role as a point guard with potential and unclog our wing rotation. It would mean the end of Tinsley dressing for every game.

Or we could just try and get a 2nd round pick from the clippers for CJ.

Thoughts?

I like the idea but I think that we should seriously consider drafting lillard from the draft this year. So maybe we get a pick for CJ but if we could swing the trade then i say go for it. I dont know of many teams that would want CJ to be honest

They have reportedly denied Jamall Crawford for Bledsoe, so I doubt they would want CJ.

OKC did but granted it was not via trade. I wish CJ a long, brilliant career. Just not with the Jazz

Maybe that's because the Clippers would have had to have given up something else (because the salaries don't match). Seeing as I doubt the Blazers wanted Ryan Gomes or a whole bunch of scrubs the only logical scenarios are they wanted Randy Foye or Billups (plus a throw in) which 1) doesn't make the Clippers that much better and 2) means they lose a promising young point guard.

I definitely think KOC should be sounding out this trade right now, whats the worst that can happen? In fact lets offer them Josh Howard as well and see if we can get a pick back!

I always get Eric Bledsoe and Eric Gordon confused. So this is either a really amazing trade or /thread

I cannot remember ever seeing Bledsoe play but have heard his name a bunch in particular around the CP trading. IIRC they did not want to let go of Bledsoe go.

He must be good at something but I'm waiting for someone to educate me. TIA.

This is from his one year at UK .. as I've only watched him play about 100 minutes of NBA ball.

Fast as hell. Killer mentality. Athletic freak (a la blocking Lebron in a big way). Strong as an ox.
A bit poor in the decision-making/bbIQ. Turned it over (not bad, but too much). Streaky shooter.

Basically the same things I have seen. We need an athletic, defensive minded PG to play Rose and the elite point guards. He might because a capable backup or he might not. There is an outside chance of him becoming a good starter.

But we win immediately because instead of having 5 wings splitting the minutes we only have 4.

I know I've only seen him play against the Jazz and from PKM's description sounds like a more athletic but not as smart/younger ver. of Earl Watson.
