ESPN Player Rankings - Jazz Players

No recent Jazz players but DeMarre Carroll sure made a big jump from last year to this year.

From 302 to 189. 113 spots.

should be on the team. the decision to not bring him back still baffles teh **** outta me

Oh I agree. That was something I didn't like about last year. I'd have kept Millsap personally but I understood not resigning him. I didn't under stand the Carroll decision at all.

Why is it crazy? He was not even a starter on one of the worst teams in the NBA. I am not saying he should be 162, but it is perfectly reasonable to have him this low.

Corbin strikes again

It's pretty ****ing cray. I don't even like Burks that much, but he should at least be around #100.

I disagree. He is easily top 25 at getting to the line alone. That would mean the rest of his game is just dreadful which it is not.

Dante Exum is about as good as Burks! Those rankings are a steaming pile of ****.

I don't know 162 puts him as a borderline starter in the league. That seems about right for him. Now if he can prove to be more than NBA starter then you might be able to say
something different but right now it's just potential

For guys who played over 1000 minutes (about 12 minutes a game) Alec Burks is:
- 63rd in Points Scored
- 85th in Assists
- 50th in Points Per 100 Possessions
- 13th in Free Throw Attempts Per 100 Possessions
- 98th in PER
- 113th in True Shooting %
- 85th in Assist %
- 98th in Steal %

It really doesn't matter but 162 seems at least 40-50 spots too low.

Way to reinforce the misguided thought that being a starter is the only way to be considered a good player.

Well I guess there are 40-50 players who established their reputations by playing defense ;)
