Jameer Nelson wasn't a bad player. Always shot a high FG% in his prime despite being undersized and could shoot the ball from deep crazy good.
This. If Burke is Jameer Nelson, then I would be happy. Nelson was a good starting PG. We need a starting PG.

I've watched hundreds of Magic games, actually more than I've seen of Utah Jazz. And I was a Magic forum member. Believe me Jameer was the Big Al of the Magic(not hated as much as Big Al but close), so a few fans liked him. The basic reason was his incompetency of managing the game and feeding a big man like Dwight freaking the Superman Howard!
He was a good shooter always, he was clutch, he was a good 3pter but when it comes to operating the game he was a headless chicken running around. If Burke will be like him, it's OK by me if he will be the short term solution only. Otherwise I'm not gonna watch the Jazz playing with a Jameer type PG wasting all the talent in the front court for years.

Wow, I don't think they are simpler at all. Burke is an inch taller and will run the **** out of the team. Jameer can't run a team to save his life. I know Summer league has scared the crap out of most just jazz fans. But it shouldn't. Trey is going to win rookie of the year and if not he will be top three meaning he's going to have a great season and be a great starting point guard for years to come.

Your bball iq must be very very low if you going judge burkes game on a glorified pickup game called summer league. All You gotta do is watch him play in college. Played in a tough conference and led Michigan to the final game. KId just need time to get to know teammates. Burke will be roy. Victor olindipo is overrated. zeller will be runnerup in roy

I think Burke is going to look a lot better with a spaced out offense, and better players around him.
