Here is a very good article and analysis about the tournament.

I want to open the thread for everyone to make a guess. I know not everyone has knowledge about those teams but me neither. Just looking at the paper, i think that Spain is a very dominant favorite. For turkey, i can only hope we will do our best but no hope for the gold medal. So here is my semi final guess:

Spain - Russia - Germany - Turkey
 
I think Turkey will do good if Hedo does good. When he is one he is really good, both creating and shooting. He gets lazy and just jacks up bad fade aways most of the time though.

lithuania,Spain,Serbia,Turkey

4 to 8( London qualification last 2)

Russia,greece,croatia,montenegro

Biggest disapointments;

Italy,France

surprise of the tournament;

montenegro(i think they will make it to the quarter-finals)

Sorry Turkey fans, but Turkey never won anything outside of Turkey. At least Tomjanovic was good coach, this dude you have now is a joke.

you know if they would come to Lithuania with their full roster,i would put them in my final 4 spot,but now they are missing allmost all players from their ordinary starting 5,i dont know man,dont let the pre-games fool you,it will be whole deferent story from tomorrow.
 
Hard to pick against the Spaniards especially now since they have the renowned Spaniard Serge Ibaka. Serbia's team has played together for a while now. Could be an upset special.

With tanjevic also we only won silver medal last yr, he was the coach for almost 10 yrs but doesnt have any great achievement. It is all about the players and team chemistry. I wouldnt be surprised if we make it to the final or get out of first round as mentioned in the article though

i think so too because they are coming from the weaker seed and they will be the top team probably and will play with the weakest of the 4 of other seed. So they will probably make it to the semis

u can see it in the article i posted , 3 teams advance first, then each team players with 3 teams from counter group, a-b , c-d

then out of 6 teams in each seed, there will be 4 top four teams to make it quarter final and they will match with the other seed

so among, spain, lithuania, turkey, serbia, germany france(considering they will be advancing) there will be only 4 in the quarters. and 4 from the other seed
