Evan Turner for Thabeet?

The Grizzlies would do it before the Sixers finished the pitch. But the Sixers wouldn't make the pitch, and they'd hang up before the Grizzlies finished theirs.

It's a bit early to call Turner a bust. By that criteria, Hayward is also already a bust. The Sixers may give up on him, but it won't be this year.

I agree but Turner has been so bad that a think a lot of teams including the Sixers are down on him. Hayward hasn't been given the playing time that Turner has received. So that is why I am jumping the gun. I think the Sixers now know that Turner has to have the ball in his hands to be effective and that can't happen with Iggy and there point guard holding the ball.

Except Hayward is 1.5 years younger, is shooting a much higher percentage from the field and 3, and was taken 9th not 2nd :)
Remember we were willing to trade anything to move up to get Turner, including Millsap, and so were other teams. Turner is a bust so far.

I don't remember that.
