Evans monster game

Could Jeremy Evans shut down Matt Bonner? It's stopping guys like Bonner that will be key to the series.

Evans, at times, reminds me of a poor mans Anthony Davis. It concerns me that Davis is so skinny, do you think that it might limit him in the league like it does Evans?

Excellent question. I've been thinking that, on the surface, there's not much difference between the two players. Having said that, Davis is just better at everything. There is NO doubt Davis will struggle early with NBA'ers knocking him out of the way .. but it will only take him his rookie year to adjust and folks will be AMAZED at how well the guy bulks up. Excellent frame and incredibly wide shoulders, thighs, calves, etc. He just hasn't filled into that 7" growth spurt, but he will.

Forget about the dunks... Jeremy blocked two shots that very few people in the league could have blocked.

This is just true. In both instances I (and the person shooting) was completely astonished that the ball didn't make it to the hoop.

If you told me that Evans had light telekinetic powers I'd believe you.

Hey you're the guy PKM told me about.

Seen anything in your dreams recently about the coin toss?

Burks, Kanter and Jeremy Evans all had nice games. I wish Evans got more playing time because he rarely has a bad game. He is very productive for the minutes he gets. I believe that Evans could be a decent SF if he worked on his dribbling and outside shooting. The coaches need to tell him to concentrate on these two skills this summer because there is going to be an opportunity at the SF since the Jazz most likely are not going to have a first round pick this year.

I would rather do a rotation of Millsap/Hayward/Evans at the SF with Evans getting some burn at the PF against certain teams. I think if Jeremy got between 15 -20 minutes he would get 6 pts. and 5 rebounds with a block or two.

It happens to everybody in the NBA. At least he didn't pull a Carlos Boozer and just let the guy go by him. He actually challenged the dunk by Hickson. Go human pogo stick!

This. I'm just glad he was willing to challenge. So what if it doesn't work.. you're showing your opponent that you aren't giving freebies.
